OP i wasnt responding to you specfically because your question was "female-wise". I was more responding to everyone who was saying that facebook was usless.
Yawn, not another boring "facebook is useless or isn't it?.." thread.

Agree with you mate.

Sure, if you have no game, best to avoid it.

But if you're a regular dude, just use it and keep chatting with girls to absolute minimum on there.

And always make sure your status updates are NEVER booorrring. You never know who is reading it.

Personally, I can't give a fvck what the rules are about this. I held out for a long time before I signed up 3 months ago, and now it is hard to imagine being without it. It's such a handy way to keep in touch with people you know.

So what you're saying is: If you have game then waste time on Facebook. Sure it might be a useful tool, but there are even better tools out there. Like going out and meeting and talking to women.

I don't know about you, but that seems like a much better use of time to me.

this subject is debated to death. Here's the bottom line. If you are not interesting enough in your life, where you rely on being mysterious to spark attraaction. Then clearly adding a hb that you've had 1 or 2 dates, wont be your best intention. If you have some interesting things up there that you think can raise your value, I think it's a great idea, hb will click your profile from time to time to check up on you, and see some awesome, good looking profile photo or whatever

If you're not interesting in real life, even mystery won't help you. Game and women are the least of your problems in this case.

So you're suggesting Facebook is an effective forum for advertising you. In place of a personal website or whatever. With that strategy you don't even need to waste much time using it. Craft a profile and advertise what you're all about and what you have to offer.

Facebook allows you to stay in touch with pretty much every fkn person you've met in your life.

4 years ago i met some guy randomly at a party who worked at boeing and we became fb firends. we never talked. last year my boss assigned me a project and i needed an expert in aviation. hit this guy up because facebook had reminded me that he existed. this guy just happened to be working on a similar project for boeing and we linked up. i saved my company millions of dollars and got an enormous fkn promotion. my salary this year is 40k more than what i made 2 years ago.

tell me facebook is useless.
I do the same thing, if you think someone is a valuable connection, I never dismiss them. You need 4 friends in life, a police officer, a lawyer, a dentist, a mechanic, etc. That's a professional contact, you may even keep separately as well. You don't have to be friends with every potential business contact, but it sure helps because there are people who may know somebody. To add, it's great thing for people from the past to contact you in case there is no number to be had. Keep in mind, that numbers change, addresses change, even home countries change. You can overlook that. I know some guys who run Facebook like professional profile, it doesnt look good and you can not have drunken photos. It's fake.

Also dont forget the times are changing, now no one wants talk on the phone. Everyone wants to text or write emails. Now you can call in sick with a text message, rather text sick in. It's an era of introverted- extraverts who share too much crap on line but have no balls to hold a conversation on the phone.

It's a message board where people like to ***** for attention. It's not really useful but you can make it so.

Have only important people on there. People you want to be in contact with long distance. Family, far away friends... etc. If you have 1000 "friends" on Facebook, you're doing it wrong. Those are people you barely know. Filler.

i have less then 50 friends for this very reason

Agree with Alle_Gory & PapiChulo.

I deleted my account this evening - interesting it takes 14 days for complete removal..

Until I'm in need of such a social media tool, I'll gladly do without it.

Protip: It doesn't actually get removed. Ever. It just goes into an inactivity mode.

The only way to "delete" your Facebook account is to delete all the information you have submitted post by post.

Avoid Facebook if any of the following hold true for you:

1) You have no game

2) You have no self control

3) You can't focus

4) Your life is extremely mundane

These are the only ways Facebook can hurt you. If you are a regular person with a decent life, Facebook isn't going to make or break your chances with any girl, OR ruin your life in any other way.

Facebook is useless.

It's not difficult finding an expert in aviation.

And I see alot of "get her FB then get her number off IM if she likesyou". Why not just assume she likes you and get her number as soon as you meet her? That saves SO much time.

That seems to be the main overlying issue with most of the people ragging on Facebook. Anything can become an addiction. The goal is moderation. Facebook isn't the problem; it is just helps show people's true colors.

No, not really. I've been facebook "friends" with some really skeevy coworkers. It actually reduced my respect for them. There's plenty of creepy and disturbing women out there.

Its destructive and brings out the rabid ego in us. I grow to hate it more and more as time goes on, as well as all the people on my friend's list. Its amazing how everyone seems to have this amazing boat party life. Everytime I'm on I find myself a little p!ssed off for whatever reason. Facebook is one big lie.

Thats true. I try to keep it real and fight the urges to make myself look better. But yeah, it doesn't quite show 100% true version of you anyway. I dont see people posting unflatering pics of themselves, it all looks better on the screen than in real life. Ex.: they see a pic of my cool ride, but they don't see how many miserable hours of body work I ve put in into that thing and how much more work it will need. Ha ha It's all effortless, easy and fun.
