Is dancing alone bad?

Ok, so yesterday, I went to one of the community fair, where lot of people from india, particularly from my province gathered, and after eating some great food, it came time to dance, but all of my family ran away. Even childrens somehow they're just way to scared, so there were group of people dancing in the middle, and I started to dance also, but I didn't have anyone to dance with, my brother was there but then thats it.

Is this bad, or it doesn't matter as long as I'm having fun? I do recall that after that dance people noticed me much more, as I took the lead..

There was only one white dude dancing, but he was inruder as some Indian girl brought him over as date, so it was either girls dancing with themselves in groups, and everybody else just watching...

dance alone if ur a good dancer......REALLY good dancer, not like lame arm head and leg movements, but i mean if ur so good that girls will look at u and say "daaamn he is GOOD"

You're not an alpha male. You need to get those traits. It's not about what you do, it's about your thinking and how you do things. Read Julious Fast, Body Language, along with anything else you can dig up on being an alpha male. Remember, it's not something you do, it's something you think.

oh man

and I thought this forum was about breaking constraints and having no fear no matter how good or bad you are at something, as the only way you can get better at something is by trying again and again; also having no regrets if you fail at it, isn't that what sarging is all about also?

Because of this sort of mentallity my whole family chickens out, they all run home when dancing starts, even I used to do that, but this forum gave me enough courage to walk upto stage and face my fears, and now you're telling me that its not worth it, WOW!!
I feel no shame in dancing, as long as I enjoy the moment and have fun, I don't see whats the problem.

Its not all about girls you know, I 'm tackling my social, career and other ambitions head on, I have found the inner self that is so freely promoted on this forum, but I guess it has very little value if it can't be used to lineup girls...

Normally, I listen to music most of the time when I'm out with my Ipod anyways, I got the 80 gb one, so you could say music and shythm is my life, but until now it was all constrained and now that I'm cutting lose, you guys want me to being old self, just being spectator?

This is not a normal canadian club dance, there are no girls and boys dancing together, we are all dancing separely, and parents are watching in front of us, its more like a showcase for young Bachelors, Parents from both girl and boys side are checking out potential wedding candidates, you guys wouldn't have any idea of what I'm talkiing about as I would need to elaborate more...

my post was supposed to indicate that there's usually not much harm in dancing alone. Only about half the people (at most) are gonna be dancing in pairs. Get out alone for a few minutes then grab a girl who maybe gives you some IOIs.

Of course, if this is some crazy, pointless Indian dance then I don't see how you expect any of us to advise you about it.
