Is being a ripped guy equivalent to a girl having a hot body?

For most guys when we see a chic with a slamm'n body, we want that ass. The face doesnt even have to be anything special. The personality is secondary as in,we'll worry about that later.

So is it the same for girls? If I'm pretty solid in the muscle department and have my shirt off and maybe a nice tan or whatever, are girls that notice you thinking sexual thoughts?

I guess what I'm asking is does a guys nice body hold the same weight as the girls nice body does in attracting the opposite sex?

For us guys, the very first thing we notice is the body... everything else comes after.

Girls do enjoy seeing a hot body and it does attract their sexual side, but those sexual thoughts don't motivate them to ask for your number or try to get on your sexual side. You still have to approach, get the date, the kiss, the sex. It just makes things a lot easier.

Most girls, even 10s are intimidated by a guy with a ripped body. Girls are so obsessed about their looks it'd be the end of their world to be dating someone better looking than themselves.

This issue doesn't affect guys, some fat guy would kill to date a 10.

Girls will first notice your body shape.
The T shape with a V shape is what gets them noticing you, then they go in for the details.
Generally speaking, women will usually notice a man whom is taller than they are first. Then they go for the biological/evolutionary instinct and look at your body shape. Tshapes/Vshapes are evolutionary signs of strength. atheleticsm, and basically good genes for breeding strong children.
ALso, geberally speaking, while women notice your body shape, they will also look at your body language. Pay attention to your posture, and body language.
Believe me, this stuff is more important than a 6 pack. I get double takes and stares all day long, and I notice girls checking me out from long distances.
What's happening is they're being drawn into my body shape, and body language.
Don't lose sight of the simple stuff you CAN get NOW.
Work on those first.

Women are all about facial appearance. They like looking at great bodies but that isn't what floats their boats out in the real world. It's highly subjective, as well....some girls like certain "faces" but there are very few guys who appeal to 90% of the women out there.

My point is:

Subject A: Great face, body is ho hum, either skinny as shyt or maybe a little plump...

Subject B: Face is so-so, average at best, but a body ripped out of the pages of a fitness mag...

Subject A will easily get the most real-world, workable female interest.

I do recall discussing this with some female friends. They all said that being with a guy with washboard abs is the stuff of fantasies, but in reality they would all feel too insecure.

Many women are like this and prefer to pick guys below their league of looks, just to feel secure.

I'm in good shape and I've had a lot of women prejudge me as a player or an arrogant ****. Even my current girlfriend and my ex- said they had reservations about me until they truly got to know me.

So it has advantages and disadvantages when it comes to women. That's why, if you have a ripped body or you're very good looking, humility is a much better attitude than arrogance or ****y + funny. Let them feel like they are worthy and you appreciate their company.

Dude read some of the post of what happens when I'm at pools or don't have a shirt on,it's the same as seeing a sexy chick. It's simple,a toned and tanned body gives you an edge(read not huge or fat). To be honest,when I see a hot chick I don't go hotten-and-hollerin,but I notice chicks are more open to doing this.

Same as everything else,don't listen to what women say,pay more attention to their actions and body language.

Tell me if you think this would have happened to me if I wasn't in shape. I was at a water park today, I wore this hat the entire time,never took it off even on rides(my face burns easily);

By the way that's me and my exact hat,the pic is a couple of weeks old.
So I'm on the 'rapid water' thing that just sends you in a giant circle with the current carrying you,now I just get on and am chilling in a tube. So I notice these 3 chicks(16-18) looking at me,thought nothing of it,I'm just trying to relax. All of a sudden someone is splashing water on me from behind saying, 'I like your hat',I just ignored it and kept moving forward. Then again,one of them splashed me again,I turned around and I notice that one of them bobs underwater to hide,I look at her friends and smirk. They did it again,I said forget it and left to go to the 'tidal wave',it's just simulates a beach with waves.....They followed me. Now I'm in the water just chilling and they stand 5ft away from me. I said to them 'That was your guys splashing me huh?' They all blushed and one dropped her jaw as to say 'how dare you'. Then one raises her hand and says 'Yeah that was me',I just laughed,she was blushing sooo bad.

Could be,also could be cause I'm younger as well. I don't think that height plays into as much as you think. 99% of the chicks that do/say stuff to me are my height or shorter,plus my buddies who are 5 10"ish+,who are even more built then me just drop chicks jaws(literally) and have people sexual harass them(no joke). Oh well,I'm not complaining.

To be honest,I think girls are most attracted to(besides looks, in this order);


-You take care of yourself,shaved, clean cut,tan and so on
-posture
-being proportional built,doesn't matter how much muscle you have,if it the parts don't match it won't work out
-being lean
-the abs
-the 'v'
-decent chest
-wide frame
-BALANCED arms,combo of bis & tris
-back
-They care less about legs

There's other things that contribute.

Face is very important. Good nose, chiseled jaw ect.

Some people just give a friendly vibe that gets girls approaching them.

Not true,one of my lifting buddies is 36 and this chick who works in the gym just came up to him and asked to feel the split in his quad last week at the gym. That was weird(out of all his muscles),but none-the-less goes to show that as long as your approachable looking anything is possible.

Women know what body type they want but they aren't going to admit to anything. Most women might be attracted to a guy who's in great shape but most of them will settle for the average to even slightly below average guy b/c they'll assume the guy with the above average body is beyond their league. But for mating fit guys do better than their overweight or underweight counterparts.

Exactly, I'm 5'9 and 160 lbs and I NEVER get approached. A couple of years ago, when I was around 130 lbs (same height), I would get approached like every time I was alone at the bus stop or even walking on the street: I remember girls straight-up telling me "You are awesome, I couldn't help but come and meet you" or asking my friends for my number.
But hey, I was also approached by people looking for a fight, since I was pretty small, so it's better now
