I read about this idea, and it makes sense. It seems that a woman who is well-balanced will not feel a need to toot her own horn, so to speak, and will go into a marriage understanding that the social convention in that a wife takes her man's name.

This should be one of the tell-tale signs that if a woman insists she keeps her last name then it is expected that she will probably be a ballbusting b1tch who will try to argue and win her way in a marriage.

20 years ago this was almost unheard of (any woman suggesting that would have been labeled a feminist and be shunned by men), but the more you let feminists women change the traditional roles and customs of marriage, the less likely it will succeed.

They should rename "Marriage" something else like "Herriage" becuase now a days its all about making the woman happy by putting her wants (what feminists brainwashing her wants) ahead of her husband in which neither will be satisfied with the results.

I know a scenario like this too. I know a woman just like your story, and I DID hit a couple times but I wrapped it up. The next guy knocked her up and she dropped him after she got knocked up and now collects his check every week. I think she planned it like that. It's sick.

She gets her needs filled, a baby and an extra check and then hunt for a beta daddy. What does he get?

Only if you have custody of the kids. It's called "child" support ya know. My buddy just got custody of his daughter. His crazy babymama has to pay him child support now. She hates it as she hasn't had a job in 5 years. It's not even half of what he was paying...but she's *****ing and moaning about it like its the end of the world.

SMART women
DUMB men

While it's stupid for a man to succumb to the archaic, societal convention of marraige, a woman is smart to marry and take the man's name because when the marraige fails (50% of all marraiges end in divorce), the woman (usually)stands to get paid a lot of money.

So, a woman having to take a man's name in marraige eventually pays off--for women. She can always switch her name back after the marraige fails.

This is very true. However, as I've said elsewhere, if you have children it's a different story. You're probably going to have to pay from future earnings, and if you don't get a job to pay the support you may go to jail.

Women in iowa do not i have several friends who have sole custody and recieve nothing every state is different. Marry a rich woman and if you split you will get half of her possesions (my lawyer told me this when i asked if a prenup would save me if i ever got married again )
