I was reading this article and it got me thinking:

This is literally the background story for that most beloved of fairy tales, Cinderella!
It's absolutely amazing how mercenary women can be. Maybe young girls are made of sugar & spice, and everything nice, but an older woman will seek out a target for cuckoldery, even long "after the lovin'".
But the worst part is how beta a man could be to shift his children's birthright to his new wife just because she can give him a good handj0b. (I use this sexual activity as an example because I know of a widower who quickly got taken off the marriage market by a cunning woman because evidently she is pretty good at this, and of course, she'd like to spend all his money and leave none to his kids.) The smart alpha (or zeta) man would use his kids as the main reason why he cannot devote his resources to his new handj0bber. Leaving $ to his kids with the stepmom as beneficiary ... ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?

I will have to admit this definitely that RARE instance where the Divorce-Industrial Complex is a benefit!

Oh my!My husband and I married last year. This is a second marriage for each of us. I have two adult age children and he has two minor children. In his divorce decree it states that he shall maintain a $300,000 life insurance for his children as beneficiary until they reach the age of 23. However, on the actual policy he only has me listed as beneficiary. There is nothing indicating that this is left for his children should he pass prior to them reaching age 23. What would the legal liability be on this if he should pass before me?
Am I legally obligated to turn this over to the children because it states it in his divorce?
