On a more serious note. A 22 year old man dating a 17 yo girl is going to be a relationship strictly based on sex. So think about what it is you're intentions are and act accordingly.

If it wasnt for the law, i have no problem with it at all. His only real problem is that its going to be illegal in most states. Granted, he could just put up the state laws (which are often online) and just see for himself if its illegal in his state.

Some states have "outs" if the age spread is under a certain limit. But its usually less than 5 years.

jmm, they all have grass on the field at 17, unless there's an uncommon hormone problem.

11 + 7 = 18

18 > 17

17 = too young

Take your age, divide by two, and add seven. That's the generally accepted dating line.

For me, that's 18 / 2 = 9, 9 + 7 = 16yrs old
