ah, I don't know. I'm not a batman fanatic that much. I thought the last one was alright. I would like to watch it again because I think that I was pissed off the last time I watched it.

im gonna second you on that one, because heath ledger gave his all to that role ... but for the record, i prefer marvel to dc .

They showed the batman trailer and I can't wait for that either. Batman is dark, it's supposed to be, and works that way. Most of these superhero movies are about men who find some challenge in their lives and go through this personal metamophosis, in the Iron Man case, it was very positive. Nothing really depressing or overwhelming (though he becomes a drunk eventually), just a guy kicking ass and figuring himself out. Good DJ movie.

Just stood all my girls up last minute because of this thread.

Another reason I sometimes prefer guy friends. The girls just don't get excited about these movies like I do! "Comic book movies just so aren't my thing. I don't see what all the hype is about."

False eyelashes, short dresses, free drinks and dancing all night long? Or super hot super c0cky super hero with superb one liners and explosions? Hmmm. Easy choice! PLUS a new Batman preview!?!?!? Fahgedaboutit.

That was a slick film. The humor level was off the scale. These marvel movies get better and better. I'd really like to see a Moonknight movie but I know it'll never happen since the character is too similar to batman. I'd also like to see DC step it up and make a Green Lantern film or something. Superman and Batman are the only DC characters that get any props. A Movie involving Dark Seide and Orion would be cool too.

I watched Iron Man premiere, there is a scene after the credits where they'll introduce The Avengers concept.

The movie is very good. Shocked to see Downey toned his body for the movie. He owned this movie.

Also note, Robert Downey Jr will also make an appearance in the new Hulk movie as Tony Stark.

Marvel is trying to link together the Marvel Universe with these movies (expect a spidey, hulk, x-men, fantastic 4 and iron man movie perhaps fighting against Onslaught?).

DC comic are already linking their heroes in their movies by introducing a JLA movie soon.

Comic books make good movies. They don't really make very good books IMO

Looks like I'll have to check this movie out. From my experience, superhero movies are all cookie-cutter plots that follow the same story arc(ie. redundant). I'll give a little review tomorrow once I've seen it.

Oh that's FAR from the best line of the movie. The movie had better lines.
