I partly agree with myth #12, but really, it's a different game online and it's hard to compare to real life. Take 100 regular chatters who do well online but have not much else going on and put them to real world against a DJ who has complete understanding of bodylanguage and verbal game (vibing), and experience that real world requires, and it's easy to see to whom the girls will get attracted to. It is a matter of being able to communicate smoothly on every level.

But I think online is great. Instant messaging allows to set any wanted frame easily and develop an online persona. Getting into a rapport is much much faster online also. I think it's actually better to start online than the field. If your communication skills sucks they develop rapidly when chatting online. You find the mistakes you make and can adjust and try again in very short time. Also when chatting it can be analyzed which is the direction the conversation usually goes. Then you have a good knowledge of how you can direct the conversation when talking with strangers. All verbal skills learned here are directly applicaple online. And what you learn online you can use in real life.

So, instant messaging helps to develop the communication skills. I can come up with something cool and test it out right away. But it doesn't require any balls, so for the girl it's hard to trust for guy being cool just by chatting with him. It can take even weeks to demonstrate that you are cool when in real life it's really a small moment to convey everything needed. Online is easier in regards when you stall you can still come back without girl ever noticing. The speed of the interaction is perhaps 1:10 when compared to real life.

The main attraction tool I use online is C&F. It is the main tool I use to separate from the rest of the chumps. There are of course other great skills I use but C&F is easiest to pull online.
