I got inspired from this by reading the other sections of this forum and made me think. For every one good advice thread on either the Tips forum or any other section, there are at least 10 threads with similar questions:
"OMG, she looked at me! Should I approach?"
"I got her number but she isn't sucking my pole? Does she like me?"
"What is wrong with you people?" is what I thought. The DJ Bible in itself is solid gold. Platinum even. They were the best of the best of the best posts that were meant to help out in these situations. Surely new users have read it, right?
Probably but that doesn't matter. They read it but refuse to become motivated by it.
The way I see it is that DJing is like a loaded gun. You have the power to talk with any girl out there whether it be someone as ugly as the hooker on the corner or as attractive as Britney Spears if she happened to be walking by for whatever reason. The DJ Bible is the ammunition. Its the ammo needed to achieve true DJ-dom. However your brain is the gun and if its not there or its something weak like a BB gun, you won't make any progress. Period.
I imagine most everyone here has started off as a lowly AFC looking to get ahead. We've all been down that road. However some people 3-4 months later post the same kind of situations they were in when they first joined.
Whats missing here?
What they are missing is the true motivation to make moves in their social lives. Its hard. Probably the longer you lived your life in AFCdom, the harder it is to break it. Its almost like quitting smoking. Its easy to just sit back and let that hottie with the nice round ass and the big rack just walk by. Its easy just to sit your ass on the couch each night watching TV.
I was this way. Hell, even now with a gf I do resort to spending some nights with videogames, the computer, or TV.
Don't you guys realize that many of you are wasting your lives being spinless sponges?
Think of it this way. Today is July 31st, 2003. You will never have this day back again. You will never have July 2003 back again. Did you do something fun and worthy of your time? Or did you just whacked yourself retarded and watched Nickelodeon all day?
In a college I'm going to, they recommended me this one book called "17 Essential Qualities of a Team Player."
"Wait es_mer8, you're supposed to be an alpha male, a team leader!"
Yeah but the book says you got to be the team player first before being the team leader. Anyway, there was an anecdote of an old man that when he was 45, he estimated he had 30 years left. So he put in 1560 marbles; one marble for each Saturday of his life left. Each Saturday after it was done, he took a marble and threw it away. He noticed as the marbles were dwindling down, he realized he took life all too foregranted and is motivated each day to make sure that each marble was well spent.
We have to have the same mentality.
Time should be the biggest motivator. Why waste your life on worthless crushes if you're not going to pursue them? I almost wish I was 10 again. I would prevent the school's AFC converting of me and I would have done HS and even JHS differently. However I don't have that time back. What I can do is make sure I make up that time by just having fun. Yes, we all have work and go to school but after that, you should be living each day like its your last marble.
Be motivated to pursue that woman or get that certain body figure. If you're not motivated yourself, you will never achieve your goals 100%
