Some highlights..

"Sexual desire in women is extremely sensitive to environment and context," says Edward O. Laumann, PhD, a professor of sociology at the University of Chicago and lead author of a major survey of sexual practices,

I thought this was important..

Men and women travel slightly different paths to arrive at sexual desire. "I hear women say in my office that desire originates much more between the ears than between the legs," says Esther Perel, a New York City psychotherapist and author of Mating in Captivity. "For women there is a need for a plot -- hence the romance novel. It is more about the anticipation, how you get there; it is the longing that is the fuel for desire," Perel says.

this is the sht we preach here every day. Don't be so eager to go from a to z (guilty!) and kill the the story line these chicks crave

Realllllllyyyyyyyy professor???? I guess it makes more sense that finding a ONS at a club is easier than a church. Score one for academia.

Also, the story doesn't end when it reaches sex. It's just most likely the CLIMAX (hehe..) of the story is reached when a fvck is involved. There are still ways to fuel the plot rather than extended the time you make her wait. Make her wait too long and she will find another dude to write the chapters in her book.

Very well said. If I had a nickel for every time Ive missed the opportunity to have sex when the iron was hot so to speak, and I didnt act accordingly for fear that I was going to fast, I'd be a wealthy man by now.

Its how you act AFTER the sex is when the real fun starts IMO.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.
