Well, I went to one of the bars that I go to regularly, and it was cool. The hbbartender that I know there was great, as usual. There was one girl who was not attractive, who pretty much showed desperation to try to get me to do anything with her. I didn't, as I wasn't interested. Not to mention, I was gaining mad social proof from guys and girls all around.

I was really freakin' drunk, too, but I went ahead and did this:

After a little while of drinking, and what-not--oh, the hbbartender didn't even charge me for all of my drinks--I probably got 3 or 4 for free--so, yeah. Anyways, I've been talking to her for a little bit, and she has told me two nights in a row now that she enjoys my company.

So, after a bit, I told her that I think she would be fun to hang with, and got her phone number. I'm not completely sure if it's a fake or not, but I don't think so, and here's why.

At midnight, after her best guy friend left--that's a story all on it's own--bottom line, he got mad at her for something she did, that really was nothing to get mad about--more about that in a minute. Okay, there was another guy there who was having a bad night, and we ll told each other happy new year, and shook hands with her at first, and she goes--"That is so impersonal, comes around the bar, and gives us both a hug--at different times.

Here's the reason I said something about that guy--about five minutes after the midnight hug--she tells me why he was mad at her--so I figure, what the hell:

me: I think it's time for me to give you a hug.
hbbt: yeah, hang on a minute.

she walks around the bar; I meet her halfway and hug as I whisper in her ear:

me: you didn't do anything wrong
hbbt: Thanks, so much, I needed that. (and with that, she gave me a little peck on the neck. I was a bit surprised.

Yes, there's more:

I was getting ready to leave, and I go and tell her that I am leaving, and she leans in and gives me another hug--that one seemed to be for about five minutes--needless to say, it was longer than just a regular one, and gives me another peck, this one on my head. Then, I left.

Remember, I was very drunk, and she was a little drunk. I really was not interested as seeing her for more than a friend, but now I think I might consider it. Based on this, what do some of you here think?

Is she drama city, or is it worth trying out? Remember, I know that whatever I decide, will be for me, but I just want to get some opinions about this.

In my opinion, you may be in the friends zone, but you never know. Why don't you ask her for her number and try to get dates out of her?

In my opinion he already HAS this girls number...

You could be in the friend zone... but is that really a bad thing??? Think about it, most hot chicks have hot friends... and often an ugly friend that they keep around to seem more attractive. (gerneralization)

The fact that she gave you a hug and a kiss twice is a definate good sign... you probably worked on this girl for many weeks now, eh?? Cause it's rare for bartenders to get involved with customers... or at least that's how it was when I tended bar.

Not really--maybe a few, but not very many. I began talking with her, and about a week and a half later, I went on vacation for a week. Came back the day before new year's eve, and the rest you can see from my original post.
