I created an Instagram account for the sole purpose of meeting women. I have some good pictures of myself posted, and am working on increasing my number of followers. After I reach a certain number of followers, my plan is to follow women in my local area, and then I will send DMs to the ones that follow me back and give them my phone number and ask if they want to meet up sometime. How many followers do you think would be necessary for me to effectively do this? I am not going to start doing this until I reach a certain number, and I was thinking around 1000. Is this too low or high? Should I start before or after reaching that number? And for those of you who think this is inefficient or ineffective, I am aware that it might be. I realize meeting women in real life is more important, and I don't plan to spend more than 10 minutes a day on this. It's just an experiment.

Bro your going about it all wrong. Yes you can do what your planning with minimal to zero success. you can even buy followers if you want to pad your numbers. bad move i think. What u should be doing is creating your instagram account with the intention of using it for what its intended for, actual social connection. I use my IG as a point of contact for girls I meet through friends, on the street, at the club or gym etc. This way you are creating it organically and its authentic. I post up minimal pics on my main page, but I utilize the story feature to flex and show the cool stuff im doing.

I also actually use IG for ALL of my communication. I try not to text even my friends but instead hit them up on instagram msger, or send a voicenote or try and facetime on there.

I have a regular instagram already but since I have only a hundred and something followers, I didn't think it would work well. I know how to beat the system for free to gain lots of followers (AND keep following count low), but I don't really want to do this on my regular account.

I only have like 100 followers but that doesnt stop me and no girl has ever commented negatively

If you're physically attractive, you have nothing to worry about. Some women will even message you first.

But if you're anything below 8/10, forget it.

Here are some tips:

1. Go after women with similar backgrounds. Put your job, school, city etc in your bio and follow the women who share the same as you.

2. Find a guy who looks similar to you and follow the women who like his pictures.

3. Unless you have absolutely amazing pictures, keep your profile private. It will encourage women to actually follow you back.

4. If you're not a prettyboy, make sure your face isn't too visible in the profile picture. Women will go into auto-reject mode. A picture with your back turned or far off into the distance is better.

5. Use the app at night. Accept follow requests and like pictures during the night. Female have their phone directly to their face at night and don't have anything else going on. They'll be more likely to check out your profile.
