I know this is harder to do in person after your being provoked and that’s definitely something you should be working on. But after the situation or scuffle is over, you can go back to your room and try to see that person’s point of view.


And unless it is totally evil, try to see it from that person’s point of view as to why that person view a situation a certain way or as to why that person is acting this way. It’s called empathy….and you know what, do it with serial killers too…it’s called compassion. Do it with people from all walks of life- women, feminists..lol, children and old people….. this is what seperates a human being from an animal, the fact that he’s doing these things.


Practice empathy wherever you go, this is a first step towards emotional intelligence.

This is a nice post. I agree. It’s so hard to do after you have been treated poorly by someone but realizing there are two sides to every story is important

I like this, but it can lead to a problem.

The problem is where to set the boundary.

No one cares how you feel, they only care about what you say and do.

Often times I see that the man who is difficult and aggressive(assertive and aggressive) will get better treatment than the one that demonstrates being kind. Its one of the difficult truths.
