Logical thought is useless in regards to emotion.Atom Smasher said:My intent is not to be argumentative, but it seems to me that giving in to fear is surrendering to emotion, and it is the proper application of rational thought that couteracts that emotion. It seems that you are exprerssing the opposite, if I'm understanding you correctly.

Exactly!Ganondorf said:exactly what muscle guy said
fear is emotion, and emotion cannot be rationalized and deleted. it can only be channeled into something more positive.
It's just like a chick. You guys think you are all logical, but really, every human experiences emotions. it's what makes us tick. some do more than others, but that's beside the point
A Chick cannot rationalize herself into liking someone she doesn't like even though in her "logical mind" she should. Likewise, you cannot logic yourself out of feeling afraid, sad, mad, ect. You should not fight how you feel, because that just makes things worse.
The difference between those who surrender to emotion and those who don't is that the people who don't surrender face theirs and except that they feel that way, and use it to there advantage by looking at things a different way
