Initiating Contact with an Ex ever a good idea?

After a chick initiated a break up w/me I IMMEDIATELY said "this is for the good" and cut off ALL CONTACT. The reason why she broke up with me was because I was a total d*ck to her and constantly played cat and mouse games.

Both of us have an amazing amount of pride. In fact, she probably has more pride than any girl I've met. I don't want to play games with her anymore and she knows for sure I'm not a wimp.


Now I have seen her twice since then in FORMAL, BUSINESS settings. Based off of body language she definitely still digs me.

For a girl like this is it OK for the guy to initiate sexual contact? Usually she would do all of the chasing but I fear that I have been so cold, cut off and she has so much pride that me making a slight concession by initiating contact could break the ice.

My JERK instincts, however, tell me this is NOT THE RIGHT MOVE because it could be showing weakness. Again, I have not initiated ANY contact on my own for this girl in any way shape or form for 1.5 months.
