I’m going to challenge it. This law needs to be thought out.

What if the man or woman just leaves. Goes to another country or somewhere but the spouse is stuck in Indonesia? Completely ghosts their spouse. Sends money and a card. That’s about it.

See laws like this take no repercussions to being a jerk. Just get arrested if infidelity happens but the other party can basically leave without any persuits.

It's disrespectful to anyone of a different religious group, and takes away freedom of choice for young people. It gives the police the right to barge into people's homes and for nosy neighbors, jealous people and gossip merchants to stick their big noses into other people's private lives.
