I'm going to try and use the 3-second rule with normal everyday stuff. I'm indecisive, I want to become more decisive and spontaneous sometimes. I'm going to apply 3-second rule to restaurants, snack machine, anything. Obviously, you can't really read even one entry on the menu in 3 seconds, but you get the point.
Rules for myself:
Must decide quickly
Must act quickly
Must not go back and regret the decision (Ordered a ****ty meal? Too bad, don't ***** about it, to yoruself or other people, see it positively -- you've learned one more thing about this place, you've tried a dish and know you don't like it, and you won't make that mistake again)
I think applying this rule 24/7, especially to seemingly trite things like what to get at the snack machine/restaurant, will help change my decision making habits overall.
I want to train myself to a) make quick decisions b) not regret the decisions c) take risks due to being more comfortable in decisions & consequences. This is mainly for advancement in life and business, not just girls.
You all should try this as well, maybe post experiences and results in here.
