Or maybe the Korean War where China entered and had huge numbers and not as advanced as an army as us, but still pushed us all the way back to the point it is at now. It's this pervasive thinking that our army is neigh invincible that causes us to engage in all of these conflicts, come out with a Pyrrhic victory and pick up a big load of debt, dead servicemen, and a whole lot of bad PR in the world.

Actually meant stuff like mortars, machineguns, grenades, armored vehicles, etc. I don't think the public should be able to have those. That way leads to Yugoslavia et al.

Without guns there won't even be a fight, just encircle and let them starve to death.

Who said that the United States winning in Iraq and Afghanistan? That is not true! It appears that the US is winning because yellow media does not report on casuties any more. But the guarilla war still strong in Iraq and Afghanistan, US troops are still dying, US tanks are burning, and US aircraft get shut down.
