Impressing a girl?

Do girls like it when you show off? I can do a back flip really well, I'm thinking about just pulling one off in like the hall or something and see if anyone approachs me.

Thats a no no haven't you learned so far trying to impress others ususally carries the oppisite result... Just do your thing and let others spread the word about you through some really cool action or whatever.. So you dont do any boasting of yourself and letting others spread the word

only do that when its situational.... dont try to impress people like that.. but if for some reason you're watching tv or something and someone does a backflip.. be like "I can do that" .. people probably wont believe you.. just play it off, be like "I'll show you one day".. and then maybe one day they remember.. and then you do it... but don't do it like you're trying to impress them.

I dress like a giggalo one day with a nice pimp long sleeve button-up shirt and some nice pants. Dress like a muscle-head with a muscle shirt and some casual jeans... you know what Im getting at? Change it up..

Some girls say something like, " You look nice, whats the occasion? " They think you got a date ( if your talking to them in the later hours of the day.) And if you feel uber smooth you could say you're dressing up to make the other girls jealous by hanging with her.

Well I just got back from class. I tried it out. I was in the commons area where people just hang out and stuff. I got one of my friends to come becuase it would look to weird to be alone and do it. I put down my bag and pulled off a solid backflip.

Some guys in the corner clapped, and there was this table of girls that were watching. One of them said "wow did you just see that". I picked up my bag and we casually walked off. When I passed the girls table they all smiled at me. Couldn't think of anything to say, so I smiled back.

hey that's another good idea....... act like you had a bet with some guy... one of your friends or something... make it look like your really trying hard to do the backflip.. once you do it have him act shocked, then hand you money... then walk away.. that's so awesome.. I'm gonna have to try it.
I can only do a backflip on a trampoline though (well, landing on one)... I can jump from the pole, do the backflip, and land on my feet.. but it's a soft landing... bet the ground's a bit different.

the guy above was right. you CANNOT QUALIFY yourself to anyone. I used to have this problem, i posted in my blog about it. Either you come off as insecure, or you end up overqualifying yourself.

As a buddy of mine taught me, "the only way to qualify yourself is to show her that you can relate to her"

exactly what n00b said. You're destroying one of the principles of the DJ man. You shouldn't make yourself a circus attraction just to get attention from the girls. That's simply retarded in my opinion.

Backflips won't get you dates, and neither will any other methods of "impressing." Impressing will work if you're in the animal world where you have to be the alpha male to get the chicks. You're a human. Girls can think. People can and will assume. Formulate those three things together and you got yourself REALITY bro.

In a nutshell, DON'T IMPRESS with backflips. You'd probably risk breaking your neck over a futile attempt to get a date or something. Just stick with the DJ methods.

yea when I was an AFC, I did this kind of stuff, but not backflips....the results were bad though

once a girl notices that you are trying to impress her, she won't be impressed. Carry the attitude that you're the one who needs to be impressed by the girl.
