Hey guys did an image experiment with a date this weekend. It was a second date and the first date was HOT. We were both digging each other. Lots of kino, touching, etc. Even though she was more into me than I was into her -- I decided to toy with the idea of what would happened if I changed my appearance slightly for the second date. I wanted to test the theory to determine how important facial looks were to a woman.

First date -- I had slightly curly hair, moisturized my face, wore lip balm and had a lot of sleep and drank a lot of water.
Second date -- I didn't wear moisturize and showed some wrinkles, made my hair poker straight, had 6 hours of sleep, parted my hair in the opposite direction, had gained a few lbs stuffing myself with food in a week.

Conclusion: No eye contact, only kiss on the cheek and a hug, no talking during date, awkward silences. It was so bad that I grabbed my balls and ended the date. Looks matter in creating chemistry. Self esteem is important but looks close behind.

It is even funnier considering that the chemistry will come right back as soon as you switch back to the first date's appearance, given a few days in between of course.
The same thing will happen if she did it to you also.
That's why I think it is harder to be women. See how meticulously they prepare themselves before going out, and you know what I mean.

good points fellas. You are right if I had changed my look back to the original state the chemistry would be there again.
I didn't bother though because it was an experiment and was willing to sacrifice the date to see what the outcome would be.
Sad thing is I have seen some hot women wake up in the morning with no makeup and look like truck drivers and the desire is gone. Poof!
Then when they get dolled up again -- its on again. Looks is strongly linked to sexual desire.

Mate, I can understand why you believe that looks matter. In all honesty, they matter for first impressions; however, if the words that you speak have value then she will pay attention. You may have just found one that had low interest or maybe you didn't boost her interest enough to get what you wanted. Boosting her interest is the key to getting what you want from her. My friends and myself have been talking about this very phenomenon on another thread. Join the discussion!
