This girl I wrote about here. Anyway, she wanted to go out this wknd to go help me buy some presents. But after making the plans, I figured things wouldn't work out (with her seeing someone else and canceling every date I asked her on, and I don't want to be her friend). So I called her and told her I had to work and couldn't go out. She sounded disappointed and immediately asked "Well how bout one night this week we go shopping? I have mon to thurs nights off". I didn't really know how to say no, so I said I'd call her tomorrow after I check my work schedule. ****. This girl has canceled every attempt at a date on my part, has stated she wants to be my friend, but I want to date her. I'm not sure what to do know.

If you said you'd go already just don't bother showing up. You don't owe her any explanation. Tell her you forgot or some sh*t. Never contact her again.

Well, she didn't exactly ask me to go shopping with her, I didn't know what to get for my sister and she offered to help me out. I would have tried to turn it into a lunch date but I reconsidered because she's canceled on every date we had.

I didn't tell her I'd go, I just said I'd check my schedule and call her tomorrow.

I just don't know if this girl is interested in me and I'm not interested in being her friend. And that's not even taking into account that she's seeing someone, even if it isn't serious. I've overheard her talking about him to my sister on the phone (I was in the same room as my sister at the time), so I figure she's more interested in him.

You're jumping the gun from just talking to her mutually to then goin on a date...you have to create some excitement on your part that will rub off on her to create that attraction to further engage and go out and actually get somehwere....saying things like hun, babe, sweetie, baby when you talk to her over the phone....sound sexy as hell to a chic (espec when said with upmost confidence). You have to gauge how she reacts when you go from talking like another friend to a bit more sexy/sexual. If she tries to give you flack(oh why do you say stuff like that or I'm not your this or htat), just be like "It's just how I like to talk when I'm in a real good mood, geez chill" Test the waters. You'll find out soon enough if you're indeed in the dreaded LJBFZ or not

Oh and I honestly got like two cbs! that night. Her ex-boyfriend to was up in the mix (on the phone called her trash and all kinds of stupid **** before I went over there, arrived to her crying actually WTF!). 1) why would you pay for her ****ing burger? I only buy food for 2 people I treat. my mom and dad. Never paid bill on dates before. I've cooked for chicks before, but always split tab or she offered to pick it up and next time I cooked or some sh1t. if its not a date, you're just throwing fvcking money on the ground for her burger? you get NOTHING out of paying for it so its like throwing a dollar on the floor for no reason. you get nothing out of that either.

2) if you ARE on a date (which u said u probably won't be) why the **** r u eating a happy meal?

3) don't use some stupid excuse like your sister to go shopping. Just be like "yeah I'll probably be shopping for my sis. I'm going to check out some places this weekend so I'll be busy with that."

Desert Fox - The burger comment was a stupid joke. And I do pay for stuff on dates, although as a rule I go low cost on the first few dates (I've never got beyond the first date with any girl so I've never spent more than a few bucks on a single girl).

I do agree with your third comment, I didn't like how the only reason we were meeting was so she could help me pick a gift out (though I do appreciate the offer), that's why I canceled on her. I've decided if I call her today I'll tell her I want to go out with her on a date, and maybe while we're out we can pick something up. And if she doesn't want to go out then I don't need her help, I'll thank her for the offer and delete her number and remove her from facebook. Do you think it's even worth saying this to her, or should I just delete her info right now?

1) never neuter yourself. this means, never kill your own chances...yourself!!! this is only possible when you don't try.

2) remove her #. i'm not sure if you should remove her from FB. i don't have a FB so I really don't know what is up with that sh1t in the first place. I'd just keep her and ignore her if she posts anything.

but I do have a phone and people I do not need to call are not on my phone. also this will help because if she calls it will be some random # and you will be like "who is this?" and that will show you have forgotten about her ass. Anyways, never act like a b1tch and ignore people in person. I'd be "pleasant" in person, which is different from nice. But phone convos, I end short because I'm busy. online convos I ignore or give 1 word answers or answer that dont make sense. Like if the girl says "ugh my life sucks." I go "i see." and I just repeat some variation of uh huh or i see or yea. and she will eventually say "so what do you think?" because women like to ask that. and I just repeat "yea that's nice." and she realizes damn he was ignoring my ass this whole time. anyways, i'm getting off track.

so since we ruled out that you're going to give up, you need to ask her out because that is what you want. i'd keep it short, and whatever you do, don't REACT to it like you care if you get rejected, even if you do, and you probably will, but don't show it. treat it like an errand you have in a long list of errands.

you: "hey wanna go out? I'm going <place> at <time>."

her: yes <blah blah blah>
you: alright its a date. i'll meet you/pick you up/etc.

OR

her: no <blah blah>
you: alright your loss, talk to you later.

then of course, you never actually do talk to her later because you delete her # 5 seconds after that call. unless she calls and wants ur d1ck. BOOM DONE. then you go to the next thing on your list of sh1t to do to kick ass at LIFE, which is probably 10x more important than this girl even if its taking a massive sh1t in your toilet.
