Look, if you like the boots, and they make you feel good about yourself (and that's the important factor here) buy them. If you're just buying them because you think an extra inch or two will make some mystical difference and make women fall all over you, forget it. Ain't gonna happen. But they sound cool, and if you want them because they make you feel good, get them. The difference in confidence will make far more of a difference than any 1-2" increase in height.

Look at it this way, it is the last day of class, and you only need a 60% (D) on the final test to get an A+.
Anyway, you study your ASS off and know everything about what will be on that last test. But you are still underconfident and worry if you will pass that final test.
Someone tells you that you can get 5 points extra credit if you wear boots to the test.
Your problem is not that you will not get that extra credit, your problem is just your confidence. You know everything already, just go take the damn test!

Not about height, but about looks. I am decent but I always wanted to be PERFECT and would always be self concious about how my jaw wasn't 'square' enough, or my face wasn't 'angular' enough.
Before, looks were always a BIG issue for me. Until I got past all that petty sh*t.
Now I realize that I am good-looking enough to get the hot chicks, and that is ALL THAT MATTERS. Before, I wanted to be admired for my looks, etc.
It pains me to think about it now, I was so petty and immature.
YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE HAND THAT YOU ARE DEALT.
