With so many things going on lately, i've been so lost and confused. I don't know how i got myself into this situation but here's what's happening. Homecoming is coming soon ( a little bit more than a month) and i have to get myself a date. I know there are lots of dates out there that i can choose from but there's just this girl that i have my eye on. I've known her since 8th grade and from then till 11th we've been friends. But i tried not to fall into the friend zone so over the summer before school started, i didn't talk to her unless she initiates a convo (in which she barely did) This year (12th grade), i don't see her much during school anymore and we seldom talk. We are still friends though .
Here's where it gets harder on me, last year she went to jnr prom with some guy, and that guy is probably going to ask her to homecoming this year. With this little time that i have, how can i compete against a guy who brought her to prom when i have this awkward history with her.
Also, here's where i get extremely frustrated. If somehow she ended up rejecting me, i was just gonna go ask the 2nd girl i have in mind but the thing is, she's a close friend of the 1st girl. Eversince i started talking to this 2nd girl, i've applied a lot of kino, humor etc.
So should i just take my chances with the 1st girl whom i really want or just go with the 2nd one?
