I work at a grocery store. I like a girl that works with me. After she broke up with her boyfriend, who also works up there, I decided to ask her out. She gave me the I just want to be friends speech. She was cool with just going out with friends as long as it wasn't a date. I recently found the so suave site and decided to try some techniques on her. Since I've tried this she has begun spending less time with her ex and will even help me with my work. I use to have to approach her first. She seems more interested in telling me about herself. She doesn't care about me touching her and will touch me back (non sexual). I think I'm making a good attempt, but I'm not sure what I should do next. Does any one have any advice that can help me become more than a friend?

Talk to other females at your work -- even if they are ugly or fat -- and spend less time with her. That's how I got this one chic at work (wish I hadn't, though).

Work relationships...

Don't dip your pen in the company ink...

Don't fish off the company dock...

I'm speaking from experience.

But is you still choose to, then the advice AmIAFC has given works well.

Especially if she's ugly or fat ... this will portray a man who is not shallow (even if you are).
