We don't usually allow new members without some prior connection, but just this once I'll make an exception.

Welcome aboard!

That will be £100'000 please. You will receive your membership pack once your cheque has cleared. :)

I'm not a troll, I have posted on the Board before. I have gotten some really good advice from the Board and I just thought maybe I could ask this question. I am mainly trying to increase my social interaction with many people. Thanks for your advice.

Find your local lodge and go ask them. However, realize it might not be what you think it is, and what you want it to be.

No point really, gains aren't great.

Although to be fair, my Grandad was a mason and my Grandma now gets a massive pension from the lodge... so yeah, your wife could benefit if you put some time in.

Do you have character references from any Masons?

You don't even need to be Catholic, let alone a priest. The only "religious" requirement is belief in a single supreme being.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

Catholics hate Freemasons. According to Cardinal Ratzinger (now our Pope!), joining the Lodge puts Catholics in a state of grave sin, and can lead to excommunication.

as far as i am aware the more higher up you are in social circles the better the handshake.

one cant go into these type of establishments in the hope of one day becoming the president (no reference to the skull and bones society).

one simply is already on that path, not granted they may allow someone of modest means to join, but considering these things usually revolve around power in some form, well you can see the type of people they actually want.

some can think of these types of things as a privalliged boys club, some can wonder at the consp' flying about and doing it for an higher power.

to me it just seems like a cognac club of men bragging about there status and being in an exlusive club and all shaking each others dongs in the proccess.

not sure why anyone would want to join it but i can see a huge motivator in the shape of self goals and potential to grow, not sure why you need some boys club for it though.

now there are a few wierd mason things out there, ones that worship all sorts of wierd 'god' to be the master, e.t.c working on pyrimid systems of knowledge, some even go onto say some masons have the key to the 'truth'.

its all very bizzare but i suspect a large % of people go into these things for some very decent reasons, though to me it seems too much like an exclusive club.

like the titanic, your not allowed on the life boats unless your x or x!

i dont like that tbh, segregating people is just more alianation we have that enough with religion, i just hope when people go into these things they dont adopt the same flaws as that system allows.

The Freemasons these days are more about bettering their communities, really. Although there are a lot of wealthy white boys, not all masons are rich, though all want to make their community--and by extension the world--better.

I don't think anyone who joins the Masons to be "president" or to gain power will find what they're looking for, there.

The Freemasons ( Scottish rite masons ), Rosicrucians, Knights Templar, Bilderbergs, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commision, Illuminati, The Easter bunny, Santa Clause and anyone else who is involved in conspiracy theories are diversions of the true problem at hand . . .

REPUBLICANS!

:kick: All kidding aside, everything bad has come from the right wingers.

Gotta love the nutts who believe the Government is housing little grey people.
