It's nothing heavy, mostly light zits on my forehead, reddish skin on my cheekbones and some small zits around my jaw area, I've been putting some regular cream for a while, tried cream based with cortisone, it temporarily make things better but never really resolves the issue. To anyone who had similar issues, what was your solution?

Drinking lots of water and eating healthy worked for me when I was a kid.

I would imagine a good exercise routine is recommended as well.

I bet those creams may work but honestly good diet and exercise always helps. Its the only way I stay in shape. I am 28 but I look 21 still (with a beard no less)

One of my work buddies tipped me off to using Vitamin E. I was 28 then, now I'm 55 and I still keep some around. I get the cheap grocery store variety, 400iu, take up to four a day for serious outbreaks, less for maintenance.
It's way better than anything else I've tried, OTC or prescription. The first time I took it, I could almost feel my skin going "Ah!"

Do you wash/moisturize your face now? What's your regimen currently?

I suggest 2.5% benzoyl peroxide (i.e. Neutrogena On-The-Spot). Apply this aggressively to pimples and they should go away pretty quickly. If it's bad enough then you can apply it to your entire face once or even twice daily before moisturizing.

Also placing a warm damp washcloth on your face for 15-20 minutes daily. If you have a particularly bad pimple you can put a warm washcloth on it for a while and it will help a LOT (follow up with washing, On-The-Spot and moisturizing too).

1. go to a dermatologist.
2. ask for a gel called epiduo.
3. use epiduo every night before you go to bed.
4. thank me later.

Follow these instructions if what the people said above me doesnt work.

Try stabilizing your insulin levels. Insulin spikes promotes acne.

Thanks guys

I guess my first step is eating more healthy and exercise more, now that I think about it, I started getting my outbreaks shortly after I stopped working out due to an injury and it got gradually worse (and now I eat so much junk food -_-) and I guess I can try vitamin E for starters in addition to the moisturizers, if it doesn't work I'll go for heavier stuff (not a fan though)

Acne is caused by Candida.

Look it up.

To get rid of it:

Eat garlic
Eat Coconut

Cut out all sugar, no soft drinks e.t.c, this includes sweetners.

Cut out yeast foods, if possible - no beer, no bread - Drink wine instead of lagers till it clears.

See results.

Vitamin E wont do jack - Water isn't a cure, it's drinking fluids that don't contain sugar (this includes fruit and Juices, since fruit contains alot of natural sugar). For example you can drink decaffinated tea or coffee (caffiene aggrivates the problem, it increases your blood flow, and if you have candida it sends more toxins to your pores). - you can have wine to a moderate degree.

I suggest you do some research on Candida, THIS IS YOUR CAUSE.

Creams will get rid of them for a while, but it's like adding bleach to a stagnant pond it will clear the pond but it wont get rid of the underlining problem.

If you want me to give you a step by step daily guide and offer suggestions for food, send me a PM - I Guarantee you'll see a result in a week.

i started lifting and eating healthy/ eating a whole lot of food everyday and this surprising cleared me up. i would get some zits but then they would go away much faster and they come in less frequency. what derms say about diet not affecting your acne is really untrue.

1. wash your face with aveno soap (wheat based)
2. change your pillow cases everyday.
3. stop drinking soda all together, replace it with water or juice.
4. no more fast food.
