Here is the link to the original thread since it was locked... Was charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery. Girl had to get face surgery. Probably the most f*cked up thing that I have ever been involved with.

WELP - A YEAR LATER AND THE SH!TS ALL OVER WITH.
Took the case all the way to trial after multiple continuances and BS. The first witness was of course her. She stupidly spilled the beans on everything. The photos we took of the damage to my house and the text messages after the incident played a key role in getting her to cough up the details on who was the aggressor. It also helped that she admitted she was drunk and trying to strike me first after the argument. Prosecutor was a complete moron.
That being said and my lawyer asking her a few more questions; It Took 15 minutes for the judge to dismiss me. My room mate nor I didn't even have to Testify. The Judge played on his computer the whole time while listening to her testify, Looked at the prosecutor and basically said "What did you expect him to do?" I think he could tell that this chick was nuts right off the bat. The way she was telling the story on the witness stand was a great testimony to her instability and unaccountability. I knew she wanted to get it over with as well tho... She still finds ways to contact me after I have had her blocked on everything for months.
A year this sh!t has been on my mind and hanging over my head and it is a huge relief. It really was a clear cut case to begin with but as im sure you are aware, the justice system typically does not favor men. Let me know if you have any questions.
