1. Proactiv at night and after school......says to use throughout the day but, i go to school and you can kinda see it.

2. Clearsasil Ultra Daily face wash. Use it on your face right after you wash the proactiv off your face in the shower or whatever. Makes ur face silky smooove.

3.Clean N Clear Morning glow moisturizer. Use in morning in case ur face gets kinda dry. Actually helps ur face shine.

STAY AWAY FROM FRUIT DRINKS THAT DONT HAVE REAL FRUIT JUICE IN IT!!YOULL HAVE BREAKOUTS NONSTOP IF YOU DO. also other foods and drinks such as milk or any dairy products can produce acne, but if you stick to the plan I gave you I guarantee most of you wont have pimples and all of you will have very few.

Also the story about the sun helping ur acne is a total myth, it actually worsens ur acne becuase your face has to produce more oil to keep face from drying out. Use Spf15 suncreen when out for more than 15minutes.

Always take 2 showers a day!!!!

PS......If the Proactiv starts really drying out ur face then use the first Benzoyl Peroxide only on weekends.
Good advice. Also, remember that your face is the result of what you did two weeks ago. If you start using medication, don't judge the results until at least 2 weeks have passed.

try cutting out dairy and bread (unless it is whole wheat) from your diet, doing that cleared my skin up in 3 weeks after i had it for many years

Its the exact opposite for me, the sun does wonders for the acne that I have. I had moderate acne on my face and back a year ago when I went to Mexico. After less than a week on the beach it was completely gone, naturally it started coming back 2 weeks or so later, but the sun does help acne a lot.

I'm with you. It's been a good 4 yrs for me, and i've tried almost every prescription and over-the-counter medication possible. Since prom is coming up, I'm gonna go to a derm and get some accutane once and for all. Whether you decide to follow a similar path or not, good luck to you.

At first the sun helps your acne because it dries up your face but then your face will produce more oil to keep it from drying which will in turn give you breakouts. Also stress is a MAJOR factor in Acne, stress free is the way to be.

ahaha yea well i consider myself atleast a tad relaxed :D . I mean i admit i can get over-anxious about a lot, but in terms of school, Grades dont worry me at all. Its all outside/social/physical stuff. But im gonna work on that stuff in summer and focus on maintaining my grades for the last 2 month stretch.

I get it mildly from time to time, what has helped me, is to resist picking or touching my face at all, drink moderate amounts of water, and using a facial cleanser, the obvious.

Dude, i'd seriously try accutane.Life is a gamble. Your skin will start to scar if you dont get rid of it soon!

Well I don't have that many pimples anymore. Very mild these days but still have a lot of little scars throughout my face that I've been trying to get rid of. Should I just:

1. Drink lots of water everyday.
2. Wash my face with water when I get up and before I go to bed?
3. Anything else?

There really isnt anything that will just get rid of scars, you can get things that will gradually fade them out a bit.In a few years youll be fine...I know long time to wait. If you HAVE to pop a pimple put lemon juice on it rite after.

Dude, whatever. Join the Army lol. I had the worst acne in the world, but as soon as I graduated Infantry school that **** just disappeared. As long as you act like a man, have a sense of humor, and dont whine about your little problems you'll be ok, even with acne on your face, shoulders, chest, etc. :) Just being honest bro, good luck.

I'm sure you've heard this story a million times, so have I, and it meant nothing to me untli it actually happened, but here it is, how I beat acne.

I tried numerous products at first, I was fooling myself into thinking they were working for a whole year, then I woke up, and realised my face was only getting worse. So I stopped using those bull**** products, and I cleared up a little, only washing my face twice a day, that was the only thing I did. Then I cut typical junk food, like McDonalds, soft drink, chocolate bars, biscuits etc out of my daily food schedule. That was pretty much all I ate, so I started eating more fruits and vegetables to compensate. The result of that? Nothing, my face didn't change at all, however I began to FEEL much better. You know that annoying itch you sometimes get when you can feel a pimple coming up from under your skin? That feeling had gone. I kept eating well, a few weeks later I had cleared up much more, and a few months later I had no active acne. Now (6 months later) it's all gone, except for the scars, but they'll fade with time, and they look kinda cool I think, my face has character. :D

Screw accutane, screw products, they're just a waste of money, just freaking use common sense and adopt a good diet with good fruit and vegetables and CUT THE JUNK FOOD.

I'd just like to echo the poster who said you should use Roaccutane. You'll have to go to a dermatologist to prescribe it though - most GP's aren't able to.

I used to have horrendously bad back acne - to the point of not swimming, etc. Now i'm fine. :)

I'm 22 and my face is now 99 percent clear, I just have large pores, and my back still has some zits.

I use the neutrogena pore refining cleaner 2x a day and just generic BP 10% 2x a day. I drink about ten bottles of water a day, and that really helped me out a ton.

As for the back thing, I still have a ways to go on that. I sit out in the sun as much as possible and that drys it out. I wash it with the same stuff 2x a day, and use alpha hydroxy lotion and BP on there 2x a day.

It really works, the acne.org regimine.

I've had acne since I turned 15, I'm 17 now and Ive tried alot of things.

Ive tried Clearasil and Diferin but neither of them worked. I then ordered the Pro-Activ system a few weeks ago and my face has gotten ALOT better over the last few weeks.

It took me about 3 weeks to first see the results of Proactiv.

The main thing Ive learned is DONT TOUCH YOUR FACE. I can see the pimples form about two weeks after Ive touched my face.
Like last week I fell asleep with my head in my arms, and now I can see pimples forming where I rested my head in my arms already.

I was thinking about Accutane, but my skin flakes real easily with most acne medication, even ProActiv, so something extreme like accutane would kill my skin.
