I'm now a fight promoter...and it is a pimp job

Or at least I am making a pimp job out of it. I got hired by my own mma trainer and promoter to market mma cage fight events.

I would call any 'I'll make you famous' angle job a pimp job. They would include anyone who gets girls attention in front of crowds of people. A typical girl is always dreaming about getting noticed and becoming a famous actress or model. That's why they will work for next to nothing and are always very flattered that you even ask.

One of the promotional ideas I'm going to do is to assemble a team of hoochies similar to the Miller Lite or Bud girls and make them our cage girls. Then I will go to bars with a bunch of scantily-clad hot chicks and pass out fight flyers. My girlfriend will be one of them and come with us. I am *not* using this to try to get laid; it is really just business. I will, however, be around a lot of beautiful young women, and be recruiting them to work for me.

I will post back on this thread my experiences that I think would help guys learn about women. And also some pictures of the girls.

Nice seems like a pretty cool job. bang some of them ring card girls. Is there any money in it? I went to some MMA fights at the copernicus center in Chicago tonight and the culture has brought out the hottest ****ing girls. There were hot girls in the crowd everywhere. I even seen girls come in groups by themselves (You know what they are there for). I also seen 2 of the hottest chicks I have ever seen with 2 of the fighters that fought tonight.

You got to go on local radio, local TV, newspaper, campuses, gyms, and sporting events with your cage girls too, dude.

The more exposure you project, especially when those hot girls are with you, the more interested the local public will become. After that, word of mouth will spread the news like wildfire about your fights.

Speaking of Miller Lite girls, you should look into getting organized with them so they can help you promote your fights too. You know, maybe they can have a stack of flyers with them when they go out to the bars or they can strategically place themselves next to the wall where your flyer is visible...might as well get background exposure.

Too bad you're hitched, otherwise you'd get laid like crazy! Unless your girlfriend is adventurous enough to have a threesome or some group orgy with those girls. :rock:

Thanks guys - good ideas all around. We are getting the beer sponsor lined up now, and then I plan to follow around the Miller or Bud girls wherever they go, and bring my own hoochie team. I am going to tell girls that they have to work for me for next to nothing so that they can work their way up to being a Miller or Bud Girl. Also, if we can break into pay-per-view, I can get them in front of literally millions of people. That is the stuff that teenage girls dream about.

I think having a team of girls will be valuable in selling sponsorships; I want to buy an old school bus and make it our party bus. Then I can roll up with 20-50 girls, and it's an instant party whenever a sponsor has an event of their own.

Now I just need a hat with a big feather in it, a fur coat, and some gold teeth...

I'm trying to start a photography business, and am thinking of doing something similar...

I'd rent out some office space Downtown, set up a small Studio

I'd approach chicks out in various locations Downtown...tell them I've got a studio nearby, and if they can stop by before a certain time, I'll take pics for free. I'd then hand them a professionally designed business card, and walk away.Scroll down to end of post to see my other idea

I'm very good in Photoshop so I could AirBrush the pics and make them look professional. I'd print the pics out on huge 36" Glossy Paper, and also e-mail them the Pics so they can use em on their FaceBook pages or whatever.

Do y'all think this could springboard into repeat business (them coming back) or Word of Mouth/Referrals?

I'm also very knowledgeable about skin-care products...I even know some wholesaler's, I could buy brand name stuff in Bulk. Do you guys think I could make much moeny selling these products to clients that come to me for photography? Do you think it would be weird?

My Other idea
Instead of handing them a Business Card, what do you guys think of a 4-5 page Brochure? With work I've done for previous clients? And a short biography/information about me? Pictures of my Studio/Equipment? The only downsides I might see to this is, it could be annoying because they can't simply put it in their pocket like they would a Business Card, they gotta carry it with them...

Don't lose sight of your main objective, to get paying customers to come and watch fights. While a busload of girls can be an effective tool in that regard, in and of itself it won't get you paid, or repeat gigs (or girls that will work for you for next to nothing) if you don't fill seats.

Have fun, this could potentially be a very lucrative enterprise.

Remember, CASH before GASH.

try working with your sponsors to possibly give out a free drink to people that come to your shows or have lottery prizes (money, gifts, etc). update your websites, post on forums, perhaps give photoshoots with 50 lottery guests with those beautiful girls you have. The girls will get them to pick up the flyer but not necessarily show up to the event. Once they pick up the flyer and read it, half the battle is won already. Now just get working on the other half, how to get them to show up...it usually requires some type of incentive since they know the girls won't be going home with them that doesn't necessarily count as incentive.

I'm working on starting my own business and marketing it and attracting clients as well. It's very interesting some of the things you can come up with.

What is the name of your fight league and what are typical ticket prices? I'd like to find some smaller fight leagues here in L.A. They're about to have a UFC event here at Staple Centers, but I'm not about to pay 100+ dollars for a nosebleed seat and maybe quadruple that for something a bit better.

Honestly, it is a pain in the ass dealing with hoochies for promo work. The better-looking a woman is, the more that she is convinced that you are just trying to fvck her, no matter what. Even when I tell them that my girlfriend will be there, I can still see the "uh-huh, right" look in their eyes. Some of them are all right, though. Our fight afterparties are huge, lots of drunk fighters with messed-up faces and drunken hoochies dancing and making out, often with other hoochies. ok, so maybe it is not so bad....
