I'm going to save you some time: James Bond Movie

don't go. My gosh don't go.

I am probably the biggest bond fan here. have all of the bond movies. i watch them over and over again. i've been counting the days when the new bond movie was supposed to come out like since like the middle of last year.

I couldn't wait until friday to go see the movie, I had to be there AS SOON as possible. So i'm all amped up to go to the movies, I go, and what I saw was not a bond movie at all. No Gagets. the plot sucked. the plot wasn't really developed. the chase scene sucked. in every bond movie you know at some point he will be captured by the enemy and tourted and somehow he is going to escape.. nope.

the movie doesn't make sense on so many levels. The only real good thing about the movie was the half ass bond girl. she was kinda hot. i say half ass because BOND DOESN'T EVEN FVCK THE BOND GIRL! WHAT KINDA STUPID CRAP IS THAT?!

how can you possibly portry this as a bond movie and bond is not getting bond girl ass? he fvcks some white woman in the movie who isn't half bad looking but isn't hot but that wasn't the bond girl.

at the end of the movie everyone in the theater looked at each like "man. that's it?".

waste of time.

I haven't seen it yet myself, but I speculate that you didnt like Casino Royale very much.

I'm expecting the same feel that Casino Royale had. If it delivers, I'll be thoroughly pleased.

I'm one of those guys that hated most of the older tacky Bond movies. I totally enjoy the new ruthless Craig Bond, based on the last movie.

great mix of action, semi-realism, gadgets, comedy, and Famke Janssen using her thighs in the best imaginable way

MY fellow sosuavers I'm now standing at the edge of a cliff typing this with my lap top. I experienced great injustice of watching the new bond movie. Casino Royale was definitely better. Before I take the plunge I just want to side with the original poster. Save yourself the time and money. Farewell thee well now as I take the plunge. Thanks for nothing James Bond people....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! thud!

casio royale actually was pretty darn good. I would rank it in my top 3 of all bond movies. nothing is better than Dr. No IMHO with Honey Ryder's fine ass


this isn't the worst one i"ve seen.... From Russia with love was pretty bad. But this is up there.

Dude, how can you not like From Russia With Love? One of the best Bonds of all time IMO.

i hated that damn movie. It just took too long to develop and I gave up on it.

I would go dr. no, then I think the name of it is a view to kill. The one that has to do with horse racing. that's a very good one.

I liked it. Yeah the plot was a little weak, and the main villian's plan didn't seem so dastardly as former villians. But I do like that they're bringing back the evil organization (God, I miss SPECTRE). However, I am glad that they are staying away from the gadgets. As much as I love the old gadgets, it became too much due to the studio wanting to use CGI all the time (Remember the invisible car from Die Another Day?). I actually think QoS was better than any of the Brosnan Bond movies. And after only two films under Daniel Craig's belt here is my ranking of Bonds

1. Connery
2. Craig
3. Moore
4. Brosnan
5. Lazenby
6. Dalton

i like all the bronsan movies. they are very solid. ic an live without teh gadgets. but damnit where is moneypenny! youc an't have a bond movie wtihout moneypenny.

see, there are 2 influentional things needed for a bond movie

1) Flirting with Moneypenny
2) bond screwing at least 2 hot women in the movie


Bond only screws one girl in QoS, and she wasn't bond worthy.

And yeah the Brosnan films are solid story wise, I just hate some of the directorial directions that were taken.

Finally, James Bond as he was meant to be. Daniel Craig is miles ahead of the comic book superhero caricatures that came before him. Although I did like Timothy Dalton. I hope Craig Stays around a long time. The only thing he has going for him is this: He's 40. But looks a bit older.

I have to wonder, how old are some of you guys who absolutely hate this more serious, down to Earth Bond. I mean are you actually old enough to remember those old movies other than on Spike TV marathons?

Obviously you've never read any of the novels. In Fleming's books Craig is as close physically to the vision. It's his attitude which makes him a bit off kilter than the novelized version. Don't mistake, I like Daniel Craig very much as an actor. In Casino Royale he was fantastic. In QoS, he was still very good. The Director, First A.D., Second A.D., the screenwriter, the editor, the PA's and the script supervisor should be lined up and shot.

Horrible film.

I see films different than most people. The technical aspects jump out first then I see it again (if warranted) and get the plot, them and acting.

This was not the worst film I've seen this year though, not by a longshot. That dubious honor goes to Appaloosa.

The whole movie is too hectic. As was Casino Royale. As was every single action film in the last 5 years.

I mean shaking cameras all the time, no scene lasting more than 2 seconds? You get ****ing disoriented, then there's explosions and you don't know what the hell is going on anymore!
If I wanted this I could go ahead and watch some Vin Diesel film...
