I'm back on that wacky a$$ site and spamming away. Got into a few convos last night after I set it up. 23yo and 31 yo. Both pretty damn cute as far as I can see from pics.

Got on the 23yo with the "blowin kisses to the haters" pic and the girl actually seems to be able to hold a decent "argument" due to the fact I got a rise out of her in regards to 'nice guys' and the typical boring profiles.

For anyone using it I'm not sure if they made changes to limit how many messages you can send a day. (I've been sending different titled no more than 3 of the same one at a time with different bodies in the email) Yet I seem to not be able to send now even though the email says "sent".

I am sending different emails not the same or few same over and over. Is there a possible limit to messages a day?

Good for you bluntmaster! But I don't jump through hoops so I'm back regardless! lol.

So far bombing on there. It's become Plenty of Oil Spill for me. Guess I can't keep my wise mouth shut. But won't. I've gotten a few responses so far. Chatted with one girl, for a few exchanges about random everyday things (foods like to eat, etc.) Asked for a phone number after the fourth reply and got a "It's been a pleasure talking to you but sorry that's not happening" and just deleted the reply.

A few others I got on the topic of looking for a "real man" but couldn't resist commenting on looking for a "real" man online is not a "real" man if they don't approach people face to face (Tad bit self deprication there) Sad thing is these women are so delusional they don't see the irony of it.

And I haven't been on in a few months and there STILL the SAME faces on there!

To me it's a side thing. I meet girls off there fine. If not no big deal. Real life is the real deal.

I've been On POF on and off for about 2 years, i would say I've had decent success(it's been up and down), however as of late it hasn't been so, I'm running into a few problems

1. Women who flake--These women seem down to hang out, I get their number but they flake worst then a snowstorm(lack of rapport I guess), I had a friend who used that site and she kept it real with me basically saying "girls who are online, are looking to upgrade, they already have a booty call but want something better", women rather play it safe with something they know their getting then taking a chance, even if it's a arshole/beta type she is dealing with(i.e. they have history, she's getting money, sex etc)

Another thing is women aren't gonna invest online in a man when they know what their getting, even if it's not what they want

this is a theory but I believe it because the last date i went on the girl flaked on me a few times, come to find out she banged a guy 4 days before our date

2. Logistics-- Chicks is down to hang out but doesn't have a car/ lives far away or kids, this may be my biggest problem. I've had to let tons of potential lays go because it just wasn't worth it.

3. Lack of follow up--I'll have chicks send me message, then for some reason they don't follow up. Maybe it's my response that doesn't get them excited. Not sure, but the same friend told me, she gets 100's of messages a day, so sometimes another guy may pop up which she deems a better pick.

anyway these are just some of the issues I'm dealing with, right now honestly I only check out POF for new profiles. sucks not having a car

I don't take that site seriously. I've got no time to put up all the B.S that's on every other profile. I like the beach, laughing blah blah. It's like practically evey profile is cut and paste.

Women online are damaged goods. I don't delude myself into thinking otherwise. There are a few attractive women but they are either shallow as hell, have no personality, or "sense of humor" as they claim to, and no one in real life wants to put up with their nonsense, so they are "trying it out" or "their friends made them do it" or their "willing to lie about how we met". It's like their last stand for attention and glory.

Plenty of Oil Spill is just that. Attention *****s, Single Moms, bus riding tubbies, and the "All stars" who "have it all" but need to go online to find "Mr. right" or "Prince charming".

I believe your friend is right and alot of the prettier ones have someone already and are looking for a gorgeous upgrade.

While I'm pretty young looking and good looking for my age, I'd LOVE to see my friend at work put up a profile. He was going to but has no time. Dude has women falling all over him. It's crazy! But being 6'2, tans, model looks, works out, 'perfect eyebrows etc. women will automatically qualify him in real life as "the perfect man".

I wonder if someone on here has ever put up a bunch of shots of an unknown great looking guy and a basic profile to see how many women start bombarding the profile with email.

You're most likely better off never meeting or getting to know those women anyway. They've probably saved you a ton of trouble.

I know these online women are full of it. I'm sure you could. They act all innocent and like a "great catch" but are hiding the real life drama and inner slvt for the hottest online bad boy.

Honestly if you saw your ex on there in a weird way it's a good thing.
