Been a bit of time. It's me NN.
Been doing good busy with work.
Quick story about one chick first and why you should never take anything chicks tell you to heart.
Girl I worked with. Has since left the job. Beautiful girl who's almost 28. I'm 44. (Should've known I shouldn't have bothered in the first place..anyway..)
Never chased this girl. Texted her very few times sporadically. Showed some signs of IOI's (meaningless to be honest) Eye contact, came up to me at times, told me to text her twice on two seperate occassions, even told me to hit her up a while ago if I was in her area (as we talked about a place I go to a lot where she lived at the time)
I ask this chick out when I'm getting back from vacation. No response. (Knew that wasn't good.) Same chick previously before that had told me to text her twice in person as I wasn't texting her nor chasing her. Second time which was a week later I did and made quick small talk. (Most likely her just looking for attention.) though when I asked her what she was up to she said having a drink (named a place near me) after work. I didn't get an invite so I figured she was simply answering my question and let it go and told her to get home safe.
Same chick tells me her boyfriend dumped her six months ago..
I never asked her out again (after she never responded to me asking her out the first time by text. No one answers their phone these days..) till a month later we were talking and she sends me this text out of the blue telling me she's going to this place we always talked about near her.)
I invite her to go with a friend his wife and I to a feast in NYC.
She says: sounds good to me.
To which I knew immediately she wasn't going.
I told her I'd pick her up.
She says: I can always meet you guys there.
(I know this isn't going good and no way a chick is going to go by herself to meet me in a crowd.)
I tell her if she needs to get ready I can just pick her up.
She responds a half hour later: "I'll let you know"
I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt she had no plans of going and was just talking at that point.
I let it go.
A week later she comes walking by with her co-worker female just before the day were supposed to go. I make small talk with her friend and never ask her about going. She all of a sudden seems to not be able to control a cough and says "I'm sick". I ignore it.
I wind up going regrdless as my friends and I were going anyway.
I see her the next day afterwards running into her around a corner (I think she was actually trying to avoid me.)
I say hi and she says hi and I keep walking. She then turns and asks me how the feast was and if I went. I told her of course I went and it was really good.
Make small talk. She did sound sick. Her voice was almost gone. YET No counter offer or nothing. A legit excuse yet nothing mentioned from her about just going out. So I knew she never had any plans about going. She tells me she was sick and couldn't talk and "forgot" to let me know..LMAO. It tell her I have to go.
I see her two weeks later and find out she's leaving the job. I wish her well and we hug goodbye and she tells me "well you have my number and we'll keep in touch".
I never bother with her again. Nor haven't heard anything from her.
Never take anything chicks tell you seriously. Disregard your emotions or any feelings you may have no matter how otherwise "Cool" and good looking they may seem.
Most will just talk for their own attention purposes. More to follow in replies..
I had it bad for this chick based on how attractive I thought she was and how "cool" she seemed and ignored several red flags. We all slip up.
Chick told me she goes out and drink a lot at times.
Chick is an almost daily pot smoker.(She told me and another dude I know told me.)
Chicks parents have a bad marriage. (She told me once.)
Chicks ex (from friends) is a pot smoking supposed coke head. (Construction worker)
Chick tells me she'd went to a female strip club with friends once.
To be honest I think someone was watching out for me..lol
