I posted under Boner da Stoner, ethnomethodologist, and now flippinfreak. I've posted on average 20 posts per day for the past ten months... I was told my problem but my disturbed mind would accept nothing.

I think I need counselling. People have called me weird my entire life, I have never understood why they believe I am that way... I've always thought I was simply unique, but it's because I don't put any effort into progressing, I am purely surface level material. Everything I say and think are simply regurgitations of my experiences, whether electronic, real, or imagined. They say that a mind should run free, so I developed myself a free mind, and in doing so lost sense with reality.

There are so many things in my life that need attending to, and learning how to be better is no use if everyday I run into problems that I have no control over. I came to this site seeking guidance, I found only advice, guidance comes from within.

I thank everybody for all the ideas they have made me think about, but I could never truly relate to people over the internet.

That's the point, I am a cat, this site and the board politics is the string. A cat will go for hours without giving up, but the owner gets bored and stops playing with the cat.... stops manipulating the cat.

That's what I need, just a little kick in the ass.

I don't believe I have contributed anything to this board. Ever thread I read I go into it with the thought that this is going to be retarded and try to find a way to get a reaction out of some poster who I know nothing personal about.

I've tried to help some, but it means nothing if I can't help people who live in my own town in the same way.

I just need the connection to be cut off. I can't control myself, I have tried, but it doesn't work.

Even a time-out should work for me.

I told YOU about myself going to mASF when I this board went down. I stayed in the chat room there and continued my search for advice, to less of a degree than I did here, but it was still damaging. My IP has already been banned from that site, and I can stay away from the other sites since I have no desire to visit them.

If somebody would be KIND enough to report this thread to a mod I would be in your debt.

Thanks Des... I know a few times I snapped at you for telling me the truth. I have progressed my 'naturally developed' mindset since than. I still think I am living in a fantasy world though...

INo matter how hard, I can't put my real thoughts into words... I do need some time away from this site.

I NEED to be banned from this site, even just a timeout. I crave the viewpoints some of the members here have, since so much of it has been true about my life and they have given such great advice, though in my situation have no way of putting into action... even now, I write looking to see if somebody can take my questions and thoughts and give me a method of realizing what it is that I want.

Dude, I used to have a similar problem several years ago, but with online gaming. I would get SOOO into it that I would cancel plans in real time to hang out with my "virtual" buddies. Now, I didn't get hooked on EverCrack or anything that hardcore, but my gf's would go to bed without me, among other things. At one point, I had one gf that would get so hard up for sexin' that she'd come in my office, crawl under my desk, and proceed to blow me while I was playing video games. I used to think that was a pretty sweet deal. But, that chick actually had orgasms from giving head, so I realized it was pretty sad. She is gone now and I blame the computer. I wasn't "addicted" but I definitely "over-indulged" and it impacted my life.

You know how to fix it? Simple. Call up your internet provider and cancel your service. Nowadays, I turn my home computer on only to update my iTunes library with CD's I bought and update my iPod. That's like, once a week, or sometimes only twice a month. Sure, I got an X-box. But my friends play it more than I do. Sure, I can stomp their azzes in Halo or run perfects on them in Soul Calibur, but I discourage people from coming over and turning it on. Let's play a card game, let's go bowling, let's do something besides sit around and get square eyeballs.

But what else are you going to do? Take a fuggin' walk. Go to the bookstore and people watch. Get the fux out of the house and do nothing. Count cars. Go visit family. Fly a kite (<--- I've randomly done that, and it is fun as hell if the park is busy: it's like having a cute puppy... chicks think it's goofy fun.) Build a model. Paint. Go to the gym. Go fishing. Walk down to the gas station and buy a pack of gum. Ride a bike. Go to the museum. Make a cool lamp out of something goofy.

One thing leads to another, and *boom!*, you don't have time to turn on the computer.

Do you want to know a freakin' awesome hobby? Shooting Trap and Skeet. Check your local gun laws, find a local gun club, get licensed or whatever, and buy a shotgun. Trapshooting is awesome: You are supposed to blow stuff up - and it's so therapeutic! After the initial buy in of the shotgun, a box of a hundred shells is only like $20 and the cost of round (25 clay pigeons) at the range is only 5-15 bucks. Screw smacking a ball around with a stick, I'd much rather blast stuff! People are usually super friendly, just go down to a local place and hang out. They usually have a "bar" that you can chill at and talk up the regulars. That's how I got started, a guy told me all about what I needed to do and where.

That's not bad advice, but with no passion I can hold onto, it falls on deaf ears.

There is so much to do, but it is so easy to just go with the flow and vibe with whoever comes across my path. As Desdinova said, I am easily influenced. KillaPeteHog made me realize I need resilience in my life. Khash made me think that I am a seriously weird person... Other people's opinions mean so much to me and they make me think. They influence my thoughts, but not my actions. I'll finish what I was doing, than I'll become entranced by their words after they have left me...

Reading this I remembered one of my problems. I cant get of the damn computer. There are just 2 places where I spend time besides the chair in front of the monitor: school and out with my friends.

I get home from school and just sit the whole day at the computer, only weekends or dates brake the monotony. I go out to drinking sessions, clubs, barbecue etc with friends usually once a week, sometimes get numbers and go out with the girl the next weeks until we have sex. Then again it all gets back to the usual and she dumps me because I'll better surf the internet than hang with her.

In the past I used to play games, like PES4 and CoD2 (I was a clanleader), I would forget to eat the whole day because of playing until one day when I deleted all the games on my computer. It got a little better.

Now I just surf, chat, gamble online and post all day.

I guess I have to cut the cable the internet comes from...

Did you see the site that you can order custom ones from online? That is this guy's business! He has one that can launch a 2liter bottle filled with water through a cinder block wall - crazy fun! Dude's even got rifled barrels for accurate potato launching... way to cool. :rockon:

Because the internet can actualy be usefull I can't really give it up completely like I did with the computer games by deleting them, so I'm gonna take it out of my system gradualy starting from now.

Im gonna turn it off after I finish this post and wont turn it on until monday.
