There is some truth to this.. I've noticed when I'm spinning many plates, getting sex from multiple woman at the same time, your confidence is through the roof. Dry spells are self-perpetuating. (I'm in a record-breaking one now.). I'm not sure of the exact mechanism that makes it so. I'm guessing that there is some extremely subtle awkwardness/neediness/creepiness that creeps in (pun intended) to the guy's vibe, body language, facial expressions, etc.
For example, the guy already getting laid may be completely unaffected by her low cut top and D boobs. But the horny dry spell guy's eyes might get big and drift south while talking to her lol. And she picks up on this unconsciously and sets off a less than comfortable red flag.
So while I harp on looks a lot, I do acknowledge that some very subtle body language things are potentially going on beyond your conscious awareness and hers.
That's why it's so important to "ride the wave" and enjoy the "feast" portion of the feast/famine cycle, whether it's hooking up with the same girl multiple times or having multiple hookups with different women.

Right! This should be a topic in of itself. Im currently in a drought, my first one since 2010, with no forseeable escape. Im almost embracing it because I feel like I NEED to accept the fact that things may dry up from time to time in a mans life. A man can either act extra thirsty, or learn to manage the drought in a more effective way. Doing the latter.

I wouldn't pay a hooker personally just to get over a "dry spell". It doesn't feel like an accomplishment to me, and I would probably be more insecure about it and it would probably have a negative effect.
I think this is why it's important to secure some solid FWB's. I had a ton of them before I signed the dotted line to the "family" life.. now that' I'm out of it, I'm back to square one. But I had a solid 3-4 chicks, that whenever they weren't dating someone else (and even sometimes then) were always down to fvck, and there was no "catching feelings" or any of that crap. We both knew what the deal was.
But yeah... once you start getting ***** it seems to just magnetize towards you afterwards.

1. Generally limited to one hour unless you pay big $$$.
2. She hates you and just wants to get it over with and collect the $, even if she pretends to be nice to you.
