I really have nothing else to give here. I've posted about most of my past experiences, I'd like to think that I've helped a few people here. And to be honest I spend way to much time reading these forums. It's just a past time that has gone a bit to far.

I've had the thought in my head for the last couple of months or so that I need to make a change in my life. I'm tired of the way things are and maybe now is a good time to go for it.

I'm taking girls off the table. I've had more than my share. I'm somewhere around 50-60. I had my fun. Chasing tail just hasn't been that important to me for quite some time.

I'm going to take the next year and focus completely on myself and fixing the things that are wrong with my life. I plan on working on my career and taking it to the next level. Starting my side business and making extra money. Paying off my debts and getting in the best shape of my life. Spending more time with my daughter and my aging parents. Reconnecting with old friends that I haven't been able to spend time with.

I plan on switching my forum addiction from SS and rational male to business, financial planning, health and bodybuilding forums.

I wish all of you good luck in the next year. Remember you have everything you need in the game. You have all the information in the world to accomplish your goals. It's up to you to do the hard work to make it happen. Now its time for me to listen to that same advice myself and make it happen for me. No more slacking. Good luck!

I wish you the best!

Ive read here that you work with graphic design and music production... I also work with graphic design and I have my music production studio at home because it is my biggest hobbie.

Thanks for your contribution, your posts are inspiring and uplifting and I wish you success in whatever you want to do.

A better place, a better time.
Sounds good. Seems we're most likely to find love when we're not looking for it, anyways. Good luck if you're still at all interested in that.

I know I'm not alone when I say thank you for making my life better. You'll never know me, or any of the other people you've helped on this site, but the world is a better place for the words you've put here.

Enjoy the new life.

Good luck Warrior, your advice in the MM forum has been indispensible in helping me initiate the transition for AFC back to DJ again. Cheers!

I feel similar to you. My main focus right now isn't women. I'm trying to establish myself financially and work on developing my career. I'm also working on paying off my debts which although i'm young it has stacked up a bit due to school and lawyer fee's. I recently just started my own business which has unlimited potential for growth but i have no time to work on it until i land a job to produce capital and i get my legal issues resolved. The reason i stay on these forums is because i've found a way to use my pick-up skills and turn it into a business.

It's something about the end of the year that causes one to do a lot of reflecting. I realized that this entire year has been mostly a wash. 2008 was better year for me financially, health wise and of course dating. 2009 everything seemed to fall apart.

I've been thinking about what exactly do I need to change in my life.

The key thing is what my father gave me hell about growing up. I need self dicipline. It's always been my biggest weakness. I understand why he kept me in football, scouting, ROTC and always forced me to go out and find ways to earn money.

Even posting this right now is being lazy. I should be doing about 10 other things.

I've been lazy on getting out and meeting women. I've been lazy on quiting smoking. I've been lazy on going to the gym. 2 times a week is not cutting it. It's pathetic and not the life I really want to live. I have not been lazy on getting my business going though. It's become a passion to see if I have what it takes to build something of quality. My friends, colleagues and parents see I am serious about this and I've received money and pledges of support as well as a few people who have donated time and skills for free to help me get started.

My goals for 2010.

- develop self discipline.
- develop better time management skills
- develop better money management skills
- quit smoking
- loose 50lbs of fat, develop muscle
- develop my side business to the point where I earn $2000 a month in salary by the end of year one.
- pay off all of my debts under $5000, cut extraneous spending.
- become a better employee at my day job (until I can replace my income I need to secure this job)
- spend more time with my aging parents and daughter. Which if things go to plan she should be moving closer and that will give us more time together.
- to build a new social circle (my old group are all of my old rave and druggy friends who are still doing the same things, I love em like bros but they aren't moving forward.)
- to branch out and try new things and enjoy life more (I've already made plans to go sky diving and scuba diving for the first time this coming summer).

I am putting posting all of these goals in my home some place where I can see them on a daily basis. It's time to really man up and create the life I really want. If i meet a chic and something happens cool. But there is just too much time being wasted and too much money passing me by.

This is just a ramble to get get my thoughts together.

Thanks for all the support guys, I wish all of you luck next year.

Funny this is at the top of the Tips thread right now.

My main thought for leaving was from the book of pook. In order really live it, you have to leave all the forums and overthinking and just being happy seeing your views reflected back at you and you have to go out in the real world and make it work. No doubt I'll be back. But I gotta break my time wasting addictions and SS is a big one for me.

thanks for this link you posted in the past man and all the best

http://www.wholewealth.com/DocumentFiles/1232.pdf

I think the main issue is investing a mans' time as opposed to spending it. Very very important stuff.

I had read only 10 pages when you posted the link but yesterday i read up to page 40 or so and my eyes were opened. I realise I just need to not let my life pass me by without making the most use of my talents. I might try my hands at writing a book on alpha male confidence actually *wink* *wink*.

After some thought Warrior I've decided to follow your lead, however, I'm starting as of the end of this post. Why put off til tomorrow what you can do today? As a lot of us probably know that leads to quite the circle of procrastination, I've got a girl to call, yeah i could put it off 10 or 15 more minutes or I can pickup the phone right now.

Our lives actually sound a lot similar, 2008 was a big step forward for me personally/professionally and 2009 was a big step backwards. I have however ditched my main job for my personal business and only work part time more for the social interaction then anything. I slacked off big time this year in my business and probably only cleared 3000-3500 per month, for next year anything less then 8k a month will be considered a failure.

It's time to start pushing my comfort zone and the time to start is right now. Peace.
