So there's this one girl I've been talking to recently that happens to be in all of my academic classes in high school. Here's a text conversation from yesterday:

Me: what's it like being a lesbian?(long-running inside joke)
Her: i can't answer that because I'm not a lesbian
Me: idk that! Are you single?
Her: haha yep
Me: I don't believe that.
Her: haha thanks
Me: you're kinda too cute to not be taken.
Her: haha thanks. But I like being single.
Me: we'll you can't blame a guy for trying haha.

It's impossible to ignore her because we sit next to each other in every class. Should I just remain indifferent and keep flirting or tone it down completely? Thanks for any suggestions

Keep flirting, and you stay in control. Never apologise or whatever for your actions. Your frame must be stronger than hers.

Other than that, set up a "date" with her, something fun. And with friends, or alone if she's comfortable. Just kiss her, and she's yours.

Dont Sh*t where you eat man. I dont think i could ever date a girl in any of my classes because if something were to go wrong it will be uncomfortable for a while, but thats just me. Like apocolipto said keep on flirting with her because she wasnt giving you to bad of signals. Except, That last text you sent should of been thought out waay more. Stuff like that could possibly leave you in the friendzone.

Thanks for the responses. I have to remember that texting allows for thoughtful planning and doesn't require a quick response. I felt as if the "But I like being single" gave off a back off dude type of response. Apparently I was wrong.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

She framed it as though she's miss perfect and can pick and choose between ****s. You should reframe the conversation to your benefit.

Although, I know how you felt when receiving that msg. Have been there.
