SHORT MESSAGE TIPS THAT ALWAYS WORK FOR ME!
1) Decide (BEFORE YOU DIAL!!) what the purpose of your message is!
Do you want her to call you back? If so, why should she?
All to often its easy to leave a message without a point or just to
say "HI it's AFC.... I'm bored call me!"
2) Don't always call from home.
You're busy and on the move; not sitting at home looking forward
to a lengthy conversation about the meaning of life!
Even better, leave her a message so that she can hear some
background noise that's makes her wonder where the you are
and who you're with - ie: downtown traffic,
noise from a bar, at the zoo while a tiger is roaring in the
background lol...well, you get the point
3) Keep it short!
"Hey XXX, it's Elimidate. I have a surprise for you, call me!"
4) Avoid saying "Hi, it's ME!"
Save this move until you're married and read tip # 6 about a persons name!
5) Smile when you talk - it shows that you're a happy upbeat person and it will definitley be heard in your voice
6) Keep it light and fun and unpredictable!
Whatever her name is, start off by saying it 3 times while smiling - "Julie, Julie, Julie!" a persons name is the most important word to them in any language- Napolian Hill
7) Stay unavailable at times -
blah blah blah......actually, you won't be able to get a hold of me tonight...call me tomorrow.
This assumes that you know she wants to call you back and it works wonders..try it!
8) Refer to something you talked about in the past!
"Hey, it's Elimidate..Guess what? lol I remember...the name... of that song we where trying to think of last night! Beat you to it! LOL hang up.
9) Never end the message by saying "Thanks"
This is almost as bad as saying "thanks" after a kiss!
10) Press the # sign and listen to the message if TIPS 1-9 don't come naturally yet.
If you mess up, stumble or say "um" etc etc..This will give you an idea of how you sound so that you can improve yourself.
