yeah.. I don't know what to do... behind a nightclub no less.. i know what I want to do but still.. i'm pretty sure the guys dead

let me somewhat explain. I'm back in arkansas for a couple of days.. ovbiously the holiday.. I wasn't going to come back but my little sister asking me to come pop firecrackers with her just put it over the top.. i can't tell that girl no.

anyway, I get in last night, I'm bored in my hotel room out of my mind, so I decide to go out.

Well, my memory served me correctly, the only real HOPPIN place on a MONDAY night is in the HOOD.. I mean.. gang bangin from little rock hood (in case you are from little rock I'm reffering to Junanitas area). like any place that's poor and hood like.. there is no parking. you have to park across the street, in someones yard, at a convenience store.

My dad is good friends with a guy who owns a dry cleaners and it's about a block BEHIND the club.

so I park, I go in, everything is cool and dandy.. it's getting late so I get ready to go.. As I am walking to my car all I hear is this guy sreaming for his life and I SEE gun shots and see a guy running away. I high tailed my ass BACK in the club... A guy that just shot someone is not the guy you want to try to reason with that "you aren't going to tell anyone".. better I not be seen. So I go back in the club. I wait until the doors close and I run out with everyone. However i was the only peson (as I saw it) that parked behind and not in front of the building, so I had to go back there again, and that pretty much assured that no one say the guy.. I'm sure he was found eventually.. he was behind the store.

anyway, I growing up I got along with everone by knowing when to pick and choose my battles. I have no idea what they were beefing over. I got a good look at the guy and the car he was running to... But is it worth it? I don't live in Arkansas any longer.. but my family does. I don't know if the guy is that damn smart or what. He has done nothing to me.

I grew up in a rough area (actually not that far from the club)... you don't have to tell me twice. I know someone who got killed (when I was younger) because the guy THOUGHT he snitched on him on a drug bust.

I mean.. the guy didn't try to hide the body.. I'm sure they found it. But is it my duty to snitch the guy out that's what I am wondering. I'm not testifying to ****.
I 'm considering catching a flight back to Cal tomorrow morning

Actually you should report it ASAP, if you don`t and the cops find out that you were at the scene, they can pin this whole BS on YOU. It`s prob too late to report now since they`ll think your hiding something. People are dumbasses... not reporting a murder is bad... what if the shooter framed you? He could easily leave the gun at your place and testify in court. If your so worried about your life, buy a gun and then join the witness protection service.

WTF ppl don`t know snitching is... it`s when you betray someone to get a lesser sentence. In this case he has nothing to do with it and was a innocent witness. The shooter and his buddies, if he`s a gang won`t kill him if he goes to the cops... if the gangs killed every witness then half the civilian population would be dead.

How do you know that he didn`t take you lisence car number down? He can easily trace it back to your parents house and plant it there. That`s why just join the witness protection ASAP until you go back... also if you identify him in jail they don`t need you to be in court. So I did read the post thanks...but hey if the guy gets caught and you get invovled... your looking at neglecting to report a crime, which could get you jail time. Goodluck with that.

Plus there were 5 or so cars out side, it's a regular neighborhood, just parked like in normal places. I doubt he had the ware withal to just start jotting numbers down and planting ****. your post is stupid and immature.

I'll take neglecting to report a crime over a bullet in the head any day of the week. I know a couple of very good laywers.. that's the least of my concern.

I didn't grow up in a bad city or anything but I also knew someone who got killed over something similar. Actually, he was brutally murdered, and they never found out who did it. No suspects. I mean, most of us knew the gang who was responsible, but no one was going to say anything or get killed too. And no one knew who specifically pulled the trigger. I'm white by the way, and the guy I knew as also white.

Not saying my friend was a big rap artist, but it was like the Tupac or BIG murder. They got killed and the crime scene was just wrapped up. It was almost fishy, like no one even cared to follow up. It was like "so what another drug dealer slain." The police didn't care.

If it really is a bad neighborhood, or part of town, either the police could be corrupt or they could be too scared to find the real killers. I figure in the city near where I lived gangs/crime was so bad they were too scared to actually try and find who really did it. It wasn't worth it to them I guess.

I would say just keep quiet. Unless you knew the guy, there is no benefit in saying anything. Problem with this system is, if you actually say something you could become a suspect. Don't try to be a hero or save anyone or even help...it can flip on you. I would try something anonymously, like LMS mentioned, if anything.

I wouldn't say anything. MAYBE in an anonymous call from a pay phone, but I'm sure if the government wanted to, they could get some voice recognition, so I wouldn't give up anything mafia related or anything serious. But in this scenario, it's not your business. You don't even know much about what happened, so the police wouldn't gain anything from you talking to them. Again, not your business cuz, like you said, you don't know if the dude killed dude's momma or if he just killed him over a drink.
