Yeah but the point is that if you marry a woman regardless how short the time period is she's entitled to half your money. Thinking positively or a pre-nup won't give you immunity, marrying the "right" woman won't keep you safe, and in some case not marrying the woman and just establishing a certain period of time together, or having a child, will put you on the hook. And don't think women don't know this. So, few women who know their value are going to just hang around for a good time and not want you to make the commitment. That is the issue, it's wrong that the law thinks women are entitaled to something when they're not. And the only way to be totally safe is to basically be celibate, but it shouldn't be this way.

What i found amusing though was when the rules got applied to the woman (Britney Spears) and that bum, K-fed, got her money and the kids. And she's been falling to pieces ever since.

I watched a sweet, loving, caring girl turn into a lying, manipulative cheater HELLBENT on professing her "innocence" through a web of lies and deceit.

Zero guilt. Zero remorse. She cared about one thing and one thing only.....avoiding the loss of the intimacy we shared AT ALL COSTS.

I could have EASILY married that sweet, loving, caring girl.

If you have any kind of money to speak of, and are considering marriage to w woman who doesn't, then a prenuptial is the only way to go. Not only does it protect your assets, but it also shortens the divorce procedures significantly so you can leave it behind you quicker when it does happen.

I've been seeing "this problem" at the place where I work too; two individuals in particular.

I think paranoia and chronic cynicism, especially employeed synergistically, are two of the most self-destructive emotions to engage in. What's so ironic about it too is that by engaging in these things, one gives life to the very thing(s) that they worry about so much. Specifically, someone incessently worrying about a potential marriage blowing up in their face is nothing short of a divorce waiting to happen. I think anyone struggling with these emotions not only does themselves a favor by not engaging in whatever decisions that they're so scared of, but also needs to do something quick to root out these emotions out of their lives ASAP before it eats them alive from the inside-out.

Great things in life are never achieved without taking measured and calculated risks. That's just the way it is.
