I am close to 6'0 and in good physical shape at 185 lbs with little fat.

When I go out, I realize my height is a huge advantage.

I mean, my facial aesthetics probably lean more towards the average. There are alot of guys that are just as handsome facially, but I always have a couple to a few inches on most of these guys.

6'0 is definitely tall in NJ, the average here seems to be around 5'8-5'9".

I was out last night and was getting eyed up in decent amounts.

I even got stopped and hit on by a 22 year old hottie. (I am 22).

I am convinced if I was not above average in height, I would be alot more invisible.

However, the height advantage will only work if you are IN SHAPE!

A Tall fat ass, is still fat.

That's strange, I'm 5'11 and I think I'm below average height for my area (Florida).

Being taller, in shape and good looking makes everything way easier. Especially for 1 night stands..

But that will just get you into the door, without confidence, challenge and self control, you will still end up getting punked in the long run.

I'm 6'2.

And you know something, that isn't that awesome in California. Most of the super attractive guys you see are over 6'6. Think "top 1% of all males" where I live. There is a club I used to frequent with lots of blonde hotties everywhere, but the catch is that you had to be at least 6' to get in. (well, not really. You could still get into the place, but at least 90% of everyone was taller than 6', so you would look awkward)

And even in that place, the guys who thought that they were super awesome suddenly became average. Height is only one piece of the puzzle and it guarantees nothing.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

I'm a lil over 5"11 ...but I tell chics I'm 6 fooot ha:) I float around 170 with a 28 inch waist:) I want to get upto at least 190-200 though.

Same applies in bodybuilding. . Have two bodybuilders who are both thick as hell/aesthetic. The taller one will usually win in the end.

i think i would move. ha

i'm 6'3", in texas, in my experience, that's pretty far above average. it definitely helps in a couple ways. one girl i'm currently working on making into a plate loves to tell me how she tells her friends that i'm so tall. also, i just have a general feeling of "yea, i could kick all these guys asses" programmed into me because i'm tall and i work out. realistically, i cant fight at all. but for some reason it's deep seated in my brain that being taller sets me ahead of everyone else.

although the really super jacked guys probably feel that way too, regardless of if they're 5'0 or 7'0.

At 5'11" I'm feel right in the middle of the height spectrum among my friends. A lot of them have me by a few inches, but I'm also taller than the same amount by a few inches.

I try to make up for having average height by hitting the gym hard. Last 16 months I've been able to put on a hearty 20-25 pounds of muscle, and people have noticed. So I guess that's a plus.

Definitely a huge advantage not only for attraction but also because it gives you more confidence. I'm 6'5" and I rarely see people taller than me, even when I go out here in NYC. Shorter men shouldn't worry about it though, just be the man. Worst thing a short guy can do is talk about his height. Most of us have a downfall, (Im going bald) we just need to try not to let those things get in our head.

Definitely understand the statement about fighting, but you gotta remember the saying "the bigger they are, the harder they fall." Usually being tall is enough of a deterrent that if you have half a brain you won't need to fight anyways.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

I'm probably about 5'9 and let me say...I had never even considered that being "short" (which I'm not really) gave you a disadvantage in any way before I read people whining about it here. Seriously.

Those people here who say if you're not above 5'10 etc you're ****ed...are chatting absolute balls.

Height is not the disadvantage, the real disadvantage is their personality, but thats a tougher pill to swallow.

Another tall Texan here..6'3" barefoot. Seems like everyone wants to be tall, but in reality, it's a huge pain in the azz. IF I could do it over, it would be 6 foot even. But the women DO appreciate a tall guy and if you got some meat on you, it definitely keeps you out of trouble. Cuz with all those size-queens all over you, you gonna get some trouble! lol Word!

I'm 6'2.

In Georgia, that really doesn't mean anything. Most girls out here are after gay guys and money.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.
