Obama is a walking disaster.

Like someone else said I'd rather vote for a pragmatic person that changes positions according to public opinion (what's wrong with following public opinion, anyway? Seems like that is a good way for a representative to make his people happy).

Than a person who is consistently and constantly making the wrong choices and doesn't keep any of his promises.

P.s. For the debt alone, I vote Romney.

it does my heart good to see someone your age voting for Romney! usually when you're young you tend to favor the liberals and the older you get the more conservative you get. me, I've always been a right winger and have just grown more grumpy and more conservative with age.:D

Dude, the tax was on people who can afford to pay the tax but not afford to buy health insurance, truly sick.
I never understood what Obama did. What exactly that means ? You mean that you need to pay the tax, but cant use the insurance ?

that's a snap shot of every last poll taken in the last 2 weeks, there is not one that has Romney ahead and there are 4 that has this as a tie

If the race is tied, Romney should be ahead in roughly half of these polls. If Romney is down one he should be ahead in at least 1 out of 3 polls, on average. Hell, if Romney was down 2 he should be polled to be ahead at least by 1 on average at least 2-6 polls out of 18. But he's not. He has not been polled ahead.

If Obama is up 3, that means a polling firm will find a tied poll around 2-6 times. Which is exactly what we see here (tied 4 times). And coincidentally 3 of those polls have a republican lean so Obama's lead may be even bigger than 3.

and PPRF is 100% correct... anyone who at this point can honestly attempt o try to distinguish one candidate from the other has an agenda beucase right now, they literally are the exact same person. in the last debate romney now wants to try to make peace with iran, wants to tax the rich and he's now pro abortion. there is no difference between the two. well, the difference being romney is just saying what he thinks people want to hear and doesn't believe what he is saying

Do you see why as a Constitutionalist Conservative I could never vote for these men?
No I don't. Vote for the lesser of two evils. You don't have to like Romney to vote for him. But refusing to vote or voting for a 3rd party candidate is like voting for Obama when deep down you know that no matter how un-Constitutional Romney is, he will be better than Obama.

No, I certainly don't know that "no matter what" Romney is better than Obama. But then again I vote on years of research into the real powers behind the two major parties, not "red team uber alles" and "deep down" feelings. I do know that to the extent there is a difference its like the difference between Hitler and Stalin or The Rack vs having my fingernails plied off. If I thought one of them was a meaningful "lesser" evil I might vote for one but its just pick your poison. Either are utterly intolerable and could destroy the country in 4 years.
I just have to disagree completely. You can't tell me Obama wouldn't tank this country massively faster than Romney would. Just think of Obama's Supreme Court picks- do you really think that Romney's would be just as destructive?

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

If either of the boobs are elected, then the President will still retain the power to assassinate Americans without due process.

Is the economy, or jobs, or welfare, or healthcare still your main worry?

If so, then perhaps you need to revisit your priorities on what makes a good President. I would say it starts with following your oath to uphold the Constitution. If they fail to do that, what makes you think you can trust them at all about anything?

I mean, think about it. Here you have two parties that work together to push back freedom and liberty, yet the talking points remain trivial in comparison. Does anyone here truly think that a recovering economy or healthcare is more important than having the right to a trial? The right to not be assassinated? If so, then you believe you are entitled to a job, but not entitled to be free from an oppressive Government. Such logic seems absolutely absurd to me.

It's not an absurd logic danger, all slaves and servants share it.

The logic behind that is that they dont risk to be unlawfully arrested or punished as long as they dont rebel against the government and since the government is gonna give them (promise to) free healthcare and a parasite job, they have no reason to do it.
They scream so much about their rights while they dont give a damn about them, all they want is to get something which is not their property and use it.

You see, you talk about principles and justice while a lot of people only cares about momentary physical gains in the short time regardless of what happens around or what could happen later due to such choices.

It's no different than women in sweden which supports leftists parties who give green light to mass immingration which in return increases the rate of female mistreatment only to have them voting for even more leftist parties (to which feminists belongs) to "solve the problem" while feeding the circle.

So in order to have a high job which they dont deserve they are fine to increase their chances of being mistreated from strangers (they take it for granted that people from religious and unfeminized cultures will simply tolerate their sh1t as much as the feminized local men).

look, no one is saying Romney will be the next Regan or anything like that. Hell, he might make Tricky ****y look good for all we know! what I DO know is there is a socialist democrat muslim lover in the White House and I'm going to do my part to get his @$$ out! you can sit there and say "oh but they're the same person, what's the difference?". the difference is one has blood from innocent Americans on his hands and the other doesn't. one shipped guns to Mexican drug cartels to use ON AMERICANS, the other didn't do that. one went on an apology tour all over the world, haven't heard Romney apologize to anyone. one is a moron and the other is a Morman. there are differences between the two, some just are too lazy to do the research and learn. they'd rather make excuses and piss and moan.

think of it like this, both are fat women, neither of them is close to being a 10. you gotta go with the less ugly of the two, and from my research, Romney is less ugly then Obozo.

I will be voting for Romney, although it makes no difference, as I am voting in the highly democratic home state of Obama.

I'm biting my tongue to not get involved in the debate here aside from answering the original question. The stress it will lead to will take years off my life....

I don't care for either of them, but I'll vote for who I consider the lesser of the 2 presented evils. In the end, I don't think it matters who you vote for as they're both going to further the neo-con agenda of bullsh1t wars and corporate greed.

Nope, potheads don't vote so the politicians don't care about them. This is why marijuana legalization is mostly a mute point. People who smoke pot don't show up at the polls so marijuana remains illegal.

If you lived in America you would realize that the Republican landslide mid-term happened because Obama had a majority in the House and Senate during his first two years and he really screwed things up.

The Republicans are trying to stop the bleeding. They didn't even have any power the first two years.

Right. Republicans are doing what they were voted in to do.

there you go with those darn facts again! you know there are no place for facts when talking to a liberal! what the left also won't tell you is policies under the Clinton administration, as well as a Democratic majority in the last two years of Bush's final term are what led to the cluster fvck we are experiencing now. most people are too lazy to look it up and see that though. you just have to ask yourself the simple question of, "am I better off today then I was in 2008?". if you're answer is no, then welcome to the side of voting for Romney.

Ah. Because the biggest financial crisis of western capitalism has absolutely nothing to do with it. Good one.

we just answered WHY it happened. also, Obama himself said that he could fix it and that it would only take one term. those were his exact promises to you guys. he didn't make anything better, but piled more sh!t in top of an already big pile of sh!t. even managed to sneak in two HUGE coverups in Fast & Furious and Benghazi. all in a days work, I guess. so when Romney wins, can he complain about the previous administration like Obama has the past 4 years?

Can't understand for the life of me why you'd vote for a party which several years ago, made a decision to pander to a base that is intolerant, regressive, economically illiterate and entirely self-serving.

We in the UK have watched from across the pond with mouths wide open as the Republicans have shamelessly tried to bring the economy to it's knees just to get Obama out the White House (e.g. the insane brinkmanship offered by the Tea Party nutters last year over the deficit increase).

They have filibustered more often than any other time in history. They have prevented qualified appointments being made. They have refused to support policies which used to be bipartisan just because Obama backed them. And they openly declared that their top priority was to make Obama a one-term president (as opposed to actually trying to solve some of the country's problems).

A daily onslaught of BS from the Fox/Murdoch machine (and right-wing radio) has successfully misinformed half of the US population to such an extent that its commonly believed that he is a muslim, born outside of america, and is an avid socialist - All of which are totally false.

Its not clear to me how any Democrat could have done any better than Obama has done, given that there has been zero effort by Republicans to cooperate.

Obama will win because the American public are not stupid enough to reward such an egregious display of filibustering. I'm sorry guys but if you can't see that Republican obstructionism has been THE single biggest problem for Obama over the past 4 years (or at least acknowledge it as a major problem) then you are lost.
