Try rereading the paragraph of mine that you quoted. Notice how I said "Intrinsically Motivated" behavior? I'm talking about behavior that you control at your will. Eating and sleeping is out of your control (at least, if you want to live).

ok. last response. lol
Working is part survival part sexual motivation. You go to school so you can get a good job and provide for your mate and offspring. Even your choice in career is sexually motivated, whether you're willing to admit it or not.
here's a question. what if i don't want to get married and have kids? who am i providing for then? some girl i fvck? no thanks. I'm a Nurse major. I love medical science and always have. notice this has nothing to do with my sex drive. what about garbage men? sexy garbage their thing?

Art is an expression of your sexuality. You don't necessarily have to be hot and bothered about what you're drawing, but your sexuality is most definitely an influence that drives your art.

Some of it is. some of it isn't, Mr. Freud. I draw a hot chick, then i turn around and draw an awesome dragon. I guess my sexuality is like that of a dragon. those are my favorite things to draw so...

You're right. Money has absolutely nothing to do with sex whatsoever. I don't know how anyone could possibly make that connection. The influence and power associated with money couldn't possibly affect your sex life!

with my minimum wage job lol ok. Chicks dig 7.40 an hour.

I bet it keeps you going... here are the top 10 songs, according to billboard.com:

I Gotta Feeling
Best I Ever Had
You Belong With Me
Knock You Down
Fire Burning
Boom Boom Pow
Love Game
I Know You Want Me
Birthday Sex
Waking Up in Vegas

Hmm I wonder why you like music so much :D

To bad i like none of those songs. looks like you lose again. Just because an Artist sings about sex doesn't mean that that's why i like the song. beat's get me first, not lyrics.

My favorite Genre Happens be anything that sounds cool

Feel free to share some more of your "non-sexual" behavior and I'll gladly deconstruct it for you. Until then, try to keep an open mind about principles you're not familiar with.

I'm Familiar with my actions and motivations, thanks. It is you who are placing Motivations on me without being familiar with me at all. Mayb you should keep an open mind about people who's actions may be different than yours

and you didn't answer my question. what about those who are asexual and those who suffer from low sex drive? there are many of those around too. what motivates them?

And for the OP. yes, we can control our sex drives. we are free thinking, free will creatures afterall. i don't have sex or masturbate unless i choose too, no matter how horny. same goes for everyone else, whether they think they can help it or not

You're trying to be logical about something that is not. Whether or not you want to get married has nothing to do with your genetic obligation to procreate and provide/protect what is yours. You don't have a say in the matter.

As for your art, It doesn't matter if you draw a dragon or a fucking bunny rabbit surfing a wave of hot lava, it is still sexually motivated.

To bad i like none of those songs. looks like you lose again.
Too bad you still can't understand the simple point I'm making. Music is all about sex. I don't care what songs you like. Almost every (good) song ever written is about sex, drugs and sex, war and sex, or some derivative of sex. Sure you like music that sounds good.. that makes you feel good. It's all an expression of your sexuality, and it's the same feeling the artists get when they write the music (it's their "art").

You're right. I am not familiar with you at all. I'm making the assumption that you're a healthy, intelligent human being, who is capable of at least a minimum level of critical thinking. I'm not here to split hairs with you. If you lack the intelligence to grasp my underlying message, then I cannot help you. But if you're truly interested in how your sexuality plays a role in your everyday behavior and would like a very in-depth explanation, then pick up a copy of The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins, or The Red Queen by Matt Ridley. You won't be disappointed.

And to answer your question: People who are asexual generally suffer from a hormone deficiency that's usually a result of a genetic disorder, premature birth, fetal alcohol syndrome, etc. Regardless, they won't be reproductively successful and their genes won't last many more generations, if any.
