Imagine what the world would be like if men stopped letting women profit from being female. I mean seriously, what would our world be like? Think about all the different ways women have it easier than men simply because they're female and look good. Professions like Porn Stars, Strippers, Models, Waitresses, Bartenders and Phone Sex operators would all be out of business. If men chose to not reward women for what they look like, would their power in social and professional settings be seriously impaired?

Would women stop taking care of themselves, or would they try even harder to get our attention? Would all the sex industry workers have to go find real jobs? Would all the trophy wives and gold diggers be forced to work at McDonalds?

It's an interesting thought. Sure some women don't make as much money as men in certain corporate settings, but why isn't anyone bytching about how female models and strippers far out earn their male counterparts? It'll never happen, because there will always be the idiots who will do anything to have sex and the supplicators who think kissing ass is a way to get laid. But wow, if men would just stop rewarding women for their looks, how different this world would be.

I think a lot of them would go bat sh!t nuts, and keep increasing the outrageousness with which they would try and get our attention.

I was thinking about this and I'm not sure. I was thinking about what would happen if we could take a pill to remove our sex drives, and how much easier it would make our lives. But then I realized that might not be the case.

Technology/human achievement could rapidly advance because men would have so much more time to devote to progress, or it could actually slow down a lot. Here's my thinking. A lot of people who invent things and cause progress, etc., do so out of self interest, making money, etc. And a huge incentive to make progress/money is that men who make more money get laid more, and with better looking women.

So if we removed that incentive, we might actually regress.

I think some of you are missing my point. I didn't say we should lose our drives permanently, or that all women do is seek male attention. I was talking specifically about how it would affect women who base their livelyhoods on men and the income they provide.

you may have a large knowlegde of sports and since you take pride in that knowledge you may foolishly think that woman would be interested in you because of it , but they might not.

How am I gonna make money then? All the professions you listed (with the exception of phone sex operators) are my associates, many are women and I bring them buisness. In turn, I get paid decent somes of money for bringing the people seeking such ventures to people offering it together. Everybody has a good time and I get paid.

If all of a sudden guys lost interest in trying to get into womens pants, which I must say is a two way street because I hook up just as many girls as I do guys and their looking to get laid just as badly, and profit off them as well. I need that taboo element of lust to run my enterprises!

Sometimes a person can be "different" in a way that makes them more sexually attractive. Rock stars are certainly different from "normal" people and that is part of their charm.

But then you have someone like Newton. He was different, but in the kind of odd way that makes it hard for anyone to relate to him, or for him to relate to anyone else. There is a limit beyond which genuine communication between different levels of intelligence becomes impossible.

Anyhow, I'm sure he would have done science anyway even if he knew it wouldn't get him a piece of azz.

It's not about getting laid, but about attracting an ideal mate that will yield the most capable offspring. If you were only 50% sexually driven, your inferior genetics would have been ousted from the pool a long time ago.

I enjoy working out. I'll give you that one. it's partly to look good, but also because i enjoy pushing my limits and getting stronger. not to mention it's fun and a good way to blow off steam

I eat. Because i'm hungry

I date. Because i want to find and ideal mate (again, another point for you)

even animals, who do have to attract and "ideal mate" in some species just devote one season to doing so. so that means the rest of the year they're doing something else, like surviving.

Try rereading the paragraph of mine that you quoted. Notice how I said "Intrinsically Motivated" behavior? I'm talking about behavior that you control at your will. Eating and sleeping is out of your control (at least, if you want to live).

Working is part survival part sexual motivation. You go to school so you can get a good job and provide for your mate and offspring. Even your choice in career is sexually motivated, whether you're willing to admit it or not.

Art is an expression of your sexuality. You don't necessarily have to be hot and bothered about what you're drawing, but your sexuality is most definitely an influence that drives your art.
