Ok... I have a couple of things I get asked a lot and I really don't know what to answer to girls. I'd appreciate any of you guy's advice.

1) I don't drink. I've been to rehab (drugs/alcohol) and I've been sober for 2 years now. When I was asked why I didn't drink I used to explain everything to get pity and get laid (at least I thought) which never worked. So what should I say in this case?

2) I have anxiety, which makes me move my feet all the time. I take Prozac, but I still have some anxiety. I get asked why I'm moving my feet all the time. Any suggestions?

I had some other things in mind but I can't remember so I'll just keep numbering them on this post as I remember thanks.

Dude... not every single person in the world drinks. Some people make a choice not to do certain things, so if someone asks why you don't drink, the simple answer would be "Because I choose not to. It's just a choice that I've made in life. There isn't really a reason behind it." If you decide that you're comfortable with someone and want to share that with them, then so be it.

As far as your anxiety goes, I can't really answer that. I'm not really sure what you mean by you moving your feet all the time. I just can't picture how you do it in my head. I don't think I have anxiety, but when I'm sittitng, my knees rock in and out at a quick rate. I can't really describe that either. Drives my girlfriend crazy, but no one has ever asked why I do it. If they did, I don't think I'd be able to give them an answer because I have no idea why I do it. Just gives me something to do I guess. I only do it when I'm sitting down, so I guess my answer would be "Because I'm sittitng here bored."

Good luck.

Just be honest and up-front. You don't need to go into details. Just say "I quit drinking 2 years ago and been through rehab so I don't want to drink anymore." Simple and to the point. By simply stating the facts a girl will be more interested in why, how, when, where. There you can start off a conversation. With the anxiety, again, just say "I have anxiety problems I can't help it." Nothing to be ashamed about, no one is perfect.

I really won't say you've been in rehab. To me that just transmits a weakness. It's something of the past that has no relevence today. "I don't drink"...why? "I just don't". One of my funnest friends never drinks and he's always jazzed up.

Concerning the feet thing, I'd take another angle: Would you consider curing your anxiety problems without drugs? I have no idea where your problems come from, and I have no psychological or medical training, so don't take this like I think I know how to solve your problems. Prozac may totally be appropriate, but maybe if psychology isn't affecting you biologically, it might be something to consider.

3) I have sweaty palms.. so they notice when I grab their hands sometimes... it's kinda embarrassing, what could I say when I'm asked why are my hands sweating?

Are you trolling?

How about you fix your sweaty palms, or carry around napkins? Why are you asking all these silly hypotheticals?

Everyone has issues. Half my right eyebrow is missing. I tap my feets when I sit down, it's like a tick. I also hum almost constantly. If someone asks (which no one will, since most people don't pay enough attention to stuff like that), just tell them the truth.

I think, if you're getting asked those questions a lot, it's because there's an awkward silence in your interaction, or you're generally being uninteresting. If you're chatting a girl up and making her laugh, she won't notice your feet moving.
