It looks like some people are a little upset that Chris Brown has been permitted to see the light of day, let alone perform at the Grammys.

The interesting part? Some of the reactions on Twitter.

And, not shockingly, it looks like Rihanna can't get enough of her bad boy.

Anyone shocked?

Sadly I think many women would be more tolerant of a beatdown than an overly nice guy.

And of course the women's rights groups who indicted the entire male race as violent abusers after the R/CB incident won't say a word about holding women accountable by not associating with violent men. Evidently, if you're a famous celebrity, the rules don't apply. You can commit murder, and your ex-gf and all your groupies will still be lined up to suck you off (while begging for you to beat them)

Rules are for little people.

The sad thing about this is that they are both so young. They will be shaped very much by what happened, and the reactions to it.

It makes sense how CB can reenter the spotlight, and win grammys (!!!), after such a short period. After all, the Grammy's were the victim. You all caught that right?

When that first happened, there was pretty much a hush over all of Hollywood, with people saying they had no opinion. Some people even accused Rihanna of being violent and the catalyst. It makes sense that she would back away from seeing herself as the victim here, and putting up any kind of fight for justice or CB's remorse. She seems sort of f'd in the head now, in a wanna be tough girl/anti victim kind of way.

It's all sad to me.

As for CB, he is a shmuck simply because he has never really shown any kind of sincere remorse for what he did. Why should he? Most people were saying that it wasn't all his fault, and now he has been redeemed with Grammy awards.

Chris brown is totally rich and famous! If you were rich and famous, you can get away with it because your women have to put up with it! Because they know your value is super high!

If you're not rich, famous, and handsome, this can quickly get you a sexual harassment and rape charge.

Simply put.

Case closed.

Rihanna is rich and famous herself though, and was named Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire magazine. She has a bit of value herself, who the heck is Chris Brown?

Apparently at heart she's some sort of scumbag, however. She has a tattoo of a gun on her side. Must be into gangbangers or something.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

It'd be funny if some upstanding tough guy would beat Chris Brown to a pulp, and then have a legion of silly women demonizing him while feminists scratch their heads trying how to condemn male violence which actually makes a lot of sense.

that sh!t'd be epic

One chick I've been seeing for years and years just bought a Chris Brown CD. I saw it in her car and said, "Didn't he beat up that girl? And you bought his album?" She said, "We forgive him."

I only asked in a mock-serious tone because I know enough about women to understand that if a guy is popular enough he can get away with anything up to and including murder, but I thought it would be interesting to see how she worded her answer.

It all comes back to the nice guy vs. a$$hole conundrum. Despite the widespread adoption of feminist ideas among Western females, they still very much desire a man in charge.

It's kind of funny isn't it? Women have nothing but disdain for a spineless pushover but many of them will go to great lengths to justify the actions of guys who beat them.....even when they are not economically dependent on them.

At the end of the day, that desire for the "Alpha" is hard wired into women. Chris Brown beating Rihanna is not in itself Alpha behavior. But it's quite clear that he was the undisputed lead in their relationship and that's what Rihanna is attracted to....especially when you consider the fact that most guys she meets practically prostrate themselves to her.

Actually it is.

Not just the beating, the beating ANDDDD the bank account AND the status

these three things TOGETHER is alpha+...chris brown is not the brad pitt puppydog toothless star, he's the brad pitt with a pitt bull temper (sorry couldn't resist) who has a major record deal and massive radio play.

Lesson: women secretly love to feel a strong pimp hand...BUT ONLY if you are rich and successful..so only beat a women IF you happen to be a superstar, otherwise you are fvcked...Bobby beat Whitney but he was a star in decline..this is no good.

A...CAVEAT...WOMEN WILL NEVER ADMIT THIS...AND WILL ARGUE THE OPPOSITE TIL THE END OF TIME

I remember an article in India about how some women were disappointed their husbands WEREN'T beating them. However, it's not really the same situation if the partner is truly unstable.

Anyway I'm sure chicks can relate in a way... they kick the sh!t out of each other too on occasion. But, moral ambiguity about male-female violence is a can of worms most people don't want to open.

Incidentally this Chris Brown "forgiveness" thing is not that much different than why teachers and administrators don't come down on bullies who are popular, intelligent, and have well-connected parents even if it's obviously wrong. You can discuss about human nature if you want... but this is pretty much an established truth.

A successful piece of sh!t is still a piece of sh!t... but it doesn't negate success. Opinions on which is the more important of these two qualities vary.

Actually word on the street is that Chris Brown was a little b!tch who took a lot of sh!t from Rihanna, who wore the pants in that relationship, until he lost it and that is when he beat her senseless. So him being a little B and taking it is not alpha, and then him losing his cool and almost his career is also not alpha.

But believe what you want.

Wife beaters and woman beaters are not sexy.

A man who can walk away from a hysterical woman without giving into anything dramatic, that is sexy.

Lol, if that's true Rihanna basically baited him into beating on her. Living with her was probably one neverending sh!t test, I could see that. No thank you.

some of you seriously need to get a real life. beating a woman is not alpha in the least bit. i can bench press damn near 300 pounds i'd snap my wife in half if i got pissed enough. what's the point?

i'm all for alphaness and **** but that's not cool at all man. i'm not down with beating women. an "alpha" doesn't let a woman get under his skin in the first place to the point to where he has to hit her.

The wet snatch test conflicts with your hypothesis.

Word on the street?

You have no connection to 'the street'

But the photos with him at the birthday party..we've all seen those...so stick to the facts.

As usual Iqqi you are MAKING SH!T UP to fit your EMOTIONAL IMPERATIVES... its a classic tutorial in how women bullsh!t their way through life....too funny :):)

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
