It's amazing the amount a person can change in only a few years. I still believe in the majority of the original post, with the exception of the ending., yet I am glad I have had years of learning and experience after reading my very immature replies to the contradicting arguments.
I would still rebuff the fallacy argument, primarily because right and wrong is the Justice system's measurement of sanity. Regarding such an intangible concept, how much better of a definition could possibly be made?
To the Egoist's argument: You may be surprised, I agree with Egoism. Altruism as a philosophy In my opinion is not a totally valid premise. Simply stated, to give also means to get. Some cultures regard gifts as impolite because they transfer a debt, whether it be tangible or intangible.
