come at me bro
i aint even mad.

only some special people will understand what i am saying, for those that dont... dont worry about it.
Lets be honest. BB isn't the best place for weightlifting info.
A few tips for the OP: Running doesn't work well with weightlifting. Try some HIIT Jump roping, sled dragging(fantastic tool), barbell complexes for cardio.

Focus on a simple lifting program that includes Squats, Deadlifts, and focuses on weight progression. Not stupid sh1t like incline dumbbell flyes, tricep kick backs, and other general silly stuff.

Ok, I'm gonna give you a bit of encouragement here...

the balding, the looking older.. I went through that myself, when I was your age, you're 22, you look a lot older, but don't let that discourage you.

I was made fun of when I was in my late teens even for having a thinning hair line.

I'm 31 now, and when I go out there's a pretty good chance I'll be making out with a chick thats attractive and probably even close to 10 years younger than me. Women, when I was 22, I wouldn't have dreamed to even be able to have a conversation with.

But you have to remember that you're not going to age as much as you think, when I was about your age, I was fat, had long hair, and was quite the UG, I was honestly scared ****less what I'd look like at 30, I wasn't getting anything from women then, so I expected to be a fat bald 30 year old.

Things didn't change til I was about 29, but most specifically within the last year.

I agree 100% with everyone else when they say ditch the haircut, and hit the gym, I wish someone would have told me that when I was your age!

the spikey thing would probably work for you, maybe get some products that will also add thickness to your hair. If I'm not wearing a hat ofr some sort, that is what I do, and my chances are usually pretty good(make out with a 21 y/o 9, with my thinning hair done up just right last June, she kept going on how hot I was, haha).

Also, with that link to the vampireish pic, and the name "Deicide"(the name of a satanic death metal band, not somethin the ladies are going to be into, at all) I assume you're looking for a goth and or metal look.

I can relate to that, but I'll be honest, a goth look probably wouldn't work for you, a somewhat stylish but non-typical metal.. maybe, if done right, but I still wouldn't do it. If you have metalhead friends who insist you grow your hair out, don't listen to them, cause I doubt they have women lining up the block for them either, my old metal friends would probably call me a homo if they seen me the way I dress now(they think anything non-metal is gay.. idiots) but thats fine cause their the ones going to sausage parties of all men getting drunk, thinking its cool and a good time to get drunk around a bunch of dudes. It's not and glad I got rid of the metalhead persona, though I do like some of the music still.

A change of clothing is in need as well, you can find a lot of cool stuff at kohls, and its relatively inexpensive not over priced if you like graphic Ts and the like, it doesn't have to cost a arm and a leg like Affliction, brands like Apt 9 and Helix comes to mind. Maybe even get a piercing or two. I got hoops in both ears and am complimenting a eye brow piercing of some sort.

Also add in some accessories, necklaces, and the like.

but of course #1 is probably hit the gym, hell I could use the work out myself.

In addition to anything exterior work on just talking to women it doesn't mean you have to hit on them, just be flirty in nature, hell I am, women working behind the counter at coffee shops just love me! it can be anywhere you don't have to stand there and talk to them, just make a cool comment and keep walking, it's a start. Anything social with women is a start, it's better to be rejected or even get a wtf out of them than nothing at all, learning comes with practice. Go to places that have a good amount of women, not sausage fests. The local boring sit down bar usually isn't one of them. Concerts, especially male dominated music styles, aren't the place either, which I learned coming from a huge metal background.
Thanks a lot! I appreciate the long response to all of this. I don't mind wearing heavy metal shirts sometimes, but I know that a metal/goth style isn't a good attractor of women at all. Yes, I like the graphic tee style. I have one(A Ring Magazine boxing shirt). Yes, the band Deicide is good, and so is the band Borknagar. I have metalhead friends, but they're in their own circle about things, and I don't see them on a regular basis.
At college, just about any place is good for meeting women. I rarely see guys cold approaching women though. I started doing it a couple months ago, and I'm certainly not good at it. I keep having fears of a girl calling the cops on me for approaching her, and a big mess over me doing it. Or losing rights to use the library or fitness center over it. That's my fear, not rejection. I still approach though, and fight my fears.
I will get my haircut this week then. I've been wanting to improve myself for a while now, and this time of the year is a great time to supplement everything.

First off, get rid of the Dumb and dumber haircut. Start hitting the gym. Men can't improve more than gym, hair, and clothes. Unless you want to wear make up, haha

just follow what the man says.

just find a nice button up shirt. ware some jeans. maybe a nice haircut.

once you got that down you can work on your game.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

erm.. you're getting there. Not digging the spiked/dyed look but it's certainly better than before. Still looks like you're trying to cover the balding though. Hey I'm in the same boat, and woman after woman has said it looks better short. You will look fine with it short all over.

The more serious expression is better for you too.

I could always go for Rogaine, but until I get a full-time job, I don't think I will be spending money on baldness cure medicine. I've always hated the idea of being bald my whole life, but I've accepted that I am thinning.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Do not use Rogaine. Pure poison. You are basically putting toxic chemicals onto your head.

Use propecia if you use anything. Small tiny pill once a day, and helps prevent prostrate cancer as well.

Don't worry excessively. The haircut is a huge improvement- you no longer look like a guy that would be uncomfortable around girls. Honestly, you have plenty of hair, no reason to shave it all off. I would invest in a new wardrobe- shirts with collars, etc.

Keep hitting the gym and doing lots of cardio- keep in mind, at 22 you are going to have a lot more facial fat than you will at 26. I would imagine you are going to be a late bloomer, but that's not a bad thing. Your best years are ahead of you, as far as women are concerned. Hell, I'm 30 and I'm out poaching the 21-22 year old women from your dating pool on a regular basis.

Yes, I need to get a more stylish look about myself. I started doing cardio this week and I'll begin my weight training on Thursday. I'm trying to lose some weight. I'll see how I look at 170, so a 10 pound loss is necessary. Haha, Have fun taking those 21-22 year old women away.
At Borknagar: Hey, one of my metal friends did criticize me for my haircut. I ended up calling him on the phone and I threatened our friendship. I told him if he didn't change and stop with the bull****, I would quit talking to him. He ended up agreeing with it, and I will see how things go when I see him again in the next couple weeks. I should have told him off a long time ago for what he had done to me, but we all have to grow up and become a man sometime.

You kind of have a Marlon Brando type face. Check out the movie "One Eyed Jacks" and go w/ that haircut....I think it would look really good. FYI, Brando had thinning hair as well.

Dude with the hair, try to just either keep it natural, or dye it darker grow it out just a little but not much(this is all coming from your new haircut actually) and maybe try to go for the "messy" look with a bit of moose. Your hairline is kinda like mine(are you balding in back though? cause I'm not) and like Jeff(I'm Jeff too) I usually hook up with younger women.

As for your metal friend, don't ever take what they say about your style seriously! Never ever do that, it's cool to be unique but unless a metal or punk girl is what you're after(ewwwww in most cases) it's not gonna work! Most of my old metal friends would hate my style, but their also either dating fat chicks, or at home playing world of warcraft, or going to sausage fest metal shows.

I wouldn't go with the spiky hair style, you don't have the pretty boy face or hairline for it. You DO however have the face of a bruiser, which would be better conveyed by either really short hair or a cueball shave. As such, instead of trying for the male model route I would go a little more bad-ass. Something along the lines of Jason Statham

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005458/

The guy is balding terribly but he's still a heart throb for many women. Notice how he doesn't try to hide it with a comb-over or douchey haircuts (Double-NO to that faggish EMO cut you linked to). Dig how the stubble adds to his masculinity. Notice how he dresses too. Not saying you should copy him exactly cause everyone has their style.

I just want you to try to imagine him wearing what you are in those pictures. I mean sure, sportswear is cool for when you are .. doing sports. But outside that context, you look like a poser who wears athletic gear but is not athletic. At first glance women see you and say

• What the f*ck is up with his hair
• Those sweatpants haven't been running their entire life
• This guy is bullsh*t

Not saying you should go all out with blazers, ties n ****. But you could sure use some clothing that doesn't have any frikkin logos on it. Business casual would work well for you, give you a mafia look. But PLEASE PLEASE dont ever buy Dockers or khakis - that is pure douchewear! Think a nice pair of jeans, decent shoes (NO loafers or moccasins), button up shirt and casual jacket, to give off that air of success.

Or if that's just not your cup of tea you could even go the rebel route, wear casual clothes but lose the corporate sports sponsors because we both know you aint Tiger Woods, lol. Go for some more original threads, something that not everyone and their mother wears:

http://www.threadless.com/

Without knowing your personality it's hard to be more specific. Regardless of the style you choose, get your ass in the gym. I see a pot belly and the beginnings of a double chin there. and that ****'s making your game an uphill battle!

When you do go, don't try to be a meathead and bulk up. Your aim should be to get ripped, so that means short, intense workouts with low weight and high repetition. Diet is also super important, you can find more info in the Health section, lot of guys who know their sh*t in there.

Take my advice and watch how much easier the game gets
