So i've read the game twice, and am revisiting the Magic Bullet, and i was wondering what anyone else thought about it? When i first discovered the book i was in highschool and didn't really understand it. after about a dozen of trial and errors over the years, ive learned that some of this stuff is becoming more clear.

What I want to know is what you guys think about the method. I look at the steps, such as opening, transitioning, attracting ( or getting some interests), qualifying, etc, and they make sense to me, right? they give a basic walkthrough, or a goal, in each interaction, of what you should try to do.

Thoughts?

Mystery method is based on being fake.

He knows a lot about human nature, and that's about all you should take from it imho.

I have only read parts of it though. There's a lot of bulls*it in the book, but also a lot of useful info.

That's about it.

I think the Mystery Method is most effective for people who would rather be Mystery than themselves. It's not absolute garbage and I've gotten some of his stuff to work before, but think about what it's called.... it's "The MYSTERY Method".... it's his stuff.

You would be better served by defining your own inner game and constructing an outer game based on that rather than memorizing a bunch of routines and other gambits. I've never met a girl who was willing to go home with me because I could do a coin trick or some kind of mentalist trick like Style's 4 questions routine. Mystery was a magician so that stuff appealed to him. I'm not a magician, and even though I like the idea of slights of hand and think they're interesting, I wasn't congruent with the stuff. And only you will be able to find out what you will be congruent with.

DJ philosophy promoted on sosuave is totally different from pick-up artistry.

PUA's like Mystery will tell you to learn lines, magic tricks, and script everything out like you're some actor.

Don Juans strive to improve themselves from the inside so it's more natural.

Since this is sosuave and not a PUA forum, you'll find most people here prefer the Don Juan philosophy.

There is some value in it in terms of outlying the framework for social interactions. Don't follow it dogmatically though, or else you'll turn into a social robot/nerd. There are a good amount of key principles to learn and use.

As for the "fake" part, that only applies if guys are using the EXAMPLES that he writes word for word. He outlines a specific scenario, then gives some possible responses. Where guys go wrong is they repeat those responses verbatim, and it's incongruent because you don't normally say sh*t like "Oh my god, you have the prettiest eyes. May I touch them?"

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

Honestly, I think the Mystery Method is outdated, not that it's entirely obsolete, but there are many programs out there with a lot of ones that could be more suited for you. The important thing is to find something that YOU like and works for YOU.

yeah, you are right in this. when i made the first post, i didn't really take into consideration his style and how he teaches them. What i mean by that is that i didn't read his material and think " oh, im going to peacock with a fuzzy hat, and do magic tricks to get laid". I was just interesting in the outline of the social interaction with a woman.

It's not based on being fake, it's based on being an "entertainer."

Well I dig the things he says about silverback gorillas.

For example that the female will sit behind the silverback with her back towards him, and wait for him to approach. That's basically how it goes in the club.

There's plenty of info there that'll help you analyse situations. The whole vocabulary with words like qualify, DHV/DLV, AMOG, will help u see social interactions in a new light. It's 'The Game' that helped me see the game more as a game though. It's really like dungeons and dragons from 'The Game''s point of view. With a bunch of stages that you need to get through.

Mystery's viewpoints that women are attracted to the tribal leader are also very very helpful. There's a lot of controversy whether it's necessary to be Alpha. I think it's best to be the AMOG. The AMOG isn't always a brutish loudmouth.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
