The OP is seeking compliance and is concerned that she is not cooperative and submissive.

It is important to obtain compliance, but this is the wrong subject to do it in.

She probably feels creeped out about saying that, and I can certainly understand that. In the United States that kind of thing is ultra-creepy, but it might not be where he's from.

However, that kind of thing only flies when you're on intimate terms with the lady, even if it is culturally acceptable. You need to fly in under the radar and get compliance in ways that are less open to interpretation.
