Massive thread and only skimmed the first page

I'll say that I agree with Dave here, I can eat out of boredom and comfort - it's emotional eating. I eat healthy now and for the past 3-4 months lost weight not really doing anything but eating healthy and lots of protein/lifting.

I can easily demolish 3000 cals a day but not really much more than that, usually at 1500-1800 range and I'm 6'2 and 186lbs

that's just how I am, it's my natural immense love of food

but it's ok, I'm still in pretty good shape because I stop myself from over eating....but if you ever wonder how people can get to 700 lbs...it's me without exercise and without self control
Lol, such complete denial

for all of you wondering what I'm talking about, this was my day yesterday

6 am - had 3 breakfast sandwiches from McDonalds
Work - had 6 candy bars
lunch time - they catered barbeque so I had some meat
after work at 6 pm - I demolished an MnM Mcflurry
Went to birthday dinner with my sister

at birthday dinner, I had 2 appetizers by myself and an order of 3 lamb chops. I had 6 pieces of cake... I still had to force myself to stop after all that. I think I easily ate 7000 calories yesterday and I would have eaten another 3,000 if I didn't force myself to stop

It's comfort eating Dave, you have the money the house the clothes but are lonely. You need a woman. Unhappiness leads to self medication whether that's booze and drugs (me) or food (you). It's a mental health issue.

You know Dave, I apologize. I must have misread somewhere that you were taking in 5000+cals a day. That's my bad.

That being said, I did not misunderstand the initial point of the thread at all. You may have misstated what your intentions were with it, but it is all in the title and the very first sentence:

"I understand why so many women struggle to get in shape.....It's not even a question of laziness....."

You, @Murkserious and others may struggle with compulsive eating and maintaining weight in the process, but you guys can sit here and say you are in shape. Why? Because you guys are NOT LAZY. You put up the fight. You make the effort. You stay disciplined.

Getting into and staying in shape isn't supposed to be easy for anyone. It is the fact that it is hard to do that makes the effort rewarding and beneficial.

I struggle like hell too just to keep my hands out of the pizza box that everyone around me is digging into while I eat my broccoli. It's not easy. But I'm also not weak and lazy.

You don't need to torture yourself to be in shape. You can eat the pizza and still be ripped but it's a question of portion control - you have to eat very small amounts overall

my problem is if I start eating pizza, I won't stop until I've demolished the whole thing

I'm in shape because, yes I work out a lot, but I also constantly put myself in a state of extreme discomfort and tolerate it

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I know what stress eating is all about I was 239 pounds way over weight, suffering from obesity had health problems I was in a stressful job for a decade my health declined it felt like I was going to die. I took the bull by the horns and changed things I no longer work in the stressful job I started working on my health in 2013 when I knew I was in trouble. Today I'm the guy I was 20 years ago, a 5'9" guy weighing in at 195 pounds I'm packing enough muscle when I lean out another 5 pounds I will be happy.

I will never be an exercise nut I have a physically demanding job it keeps me in shape, you could be in the best of shape ever and have a bad attitude you will never attract a woman. Even when I was overweight I had women chatting me up its all about your demeanor.

Women can be exercise nuts a woman that lives in my neighbourhood is, she's been one since the say I met her pushing herself to the limits, she's got serious body image issues. She's not womanly anymore she's too lean, its not female body builder lean but lean enough she's got no curves. Her face kills her attractiveness, along with her body image issues, she's really become a full of herself b*tch. Anytime I see her she's very aware of me its been like that since the day I met her she knows I will put her in her place, she's always been daddies girl.
